  • Use AI coding assistants and agent tooling in day-to-day development, and review, refactor, and debug AI-generated code with sound judgment.
  • Build and maintain Tanium products as part of an agile development team.
  • Design, develop, and test new product ideas from the ground up while working with product management for feedback and input.
  • Work on small teams tackling challenges in common components, including a common data service that unifies and consolidates endpoint data across the ecosystem, time-series data for dashboards and reporting, and externally exposed data through GraphQL for partner integrations.
  • Deliver higher-level services enabled by core services, supporting products in areas including security, operations, and auditing.

Desired Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Golang is preferred.

About the Company

Tanium

Endpoint security and real-time systems management

Tanium provides endpoint security and IT systems management using the Tanium XEM platform. The platform gives real-time visibility and control over endpoints across an organization, allowing teams to see all devices, applications, and configurations and to take actions quickly. It works by deploying lightweight agents on endpoints that continuously collect data and respond to guided queries from a centralized console, enabling tasks like asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, patching, and remediation at scale. Compared to competitors, Tanium emphasizes real-time, large-scale visibility and control across heterogeneous environments, including government, financial, and retail sectors, with a single platform that integrates security and IT operations. The company's goal is to help organizations protect their critical assets and manage their IT environments with certainty and precision.
