Smartsheet Named a Leader for Fourth Consecutive Year in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Collaborative Work Management

Smartsheet Named a Leader for Fourth Consecutive Year in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Collaborative Work Management TMCnet News [October 08, 2026] | / | Smartsheet Named a Leader for Fourth Consecutive Year in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Collaborative Work Management Smartsheet today announced it has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Collaborative Work Management (CWM). This recognition marks the fourth consecutive year Smartsheet has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant. This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261005207608/en/ Smartsheet has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Collaborative Work Management for the fourth consecutive year. According to Gartner, CWM platforms "increasingly connect team productivity with operational work and AI-supported execution" that "enable end users to plan, coordinate and automate their work." Trusted by over 85% of the Fortune 500, Smartsheet transforms how organizations manage complex work by embedding AI into everyday operations. Most enterprises are investing heavily in AI, but that investment often stays siloed, layered onto individual tasks without connecting to the systems, data and context required to run the business. The result is a widening gap between what leaders intend and what actually gets executed, even as AI spend increases. Smartsheet believes its recognition as a Leader reflects a different approach: bringing AI directly into the projects, portfolios and processes where work already happens, so intelligence and execution move together instead of pulling apart. "We believe being recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Collaborative Work Management for four consecutive years reflects the value we deliver as our customers scale," said Pratima Arora, chief product and technology officer at Smartsheet. "That value comes from depth, not just scale. We've made our platform's understanding of how work gets done available to the AI tools our customers already use. Our goal isn't to build another assistant, but to give any AI that same context. That's the foundation we're buildingon as we help enterprise teams around the world execute with more clarity, control and speed." In the past year, Smartsheet has advanced its AI roadmap with the general availability of Smart Assist, which brings AI directly into how teams plan, track and get work done, and launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, giving customers the flexibility to bring their AI of choice into governed Smartsheet workspaces. Together, these capabilities are on track to drive more than 100 million AI requests annually. The company also added Scenario Planning and portfolio reporting features built for large, cross-functional teams. Customers cite that same combination of governance and usability as a differentiator. One IT manager on Gartner Peer Insights(TM) called Smartsheet their "core platform for collaboration, process improvement and decision making" that delivers "the security and governance needed for sensitive business information while still being accessible enough for teams to adopt." Smartsheet continues to innovate to help organizations turn AI ambition into operational reality. At its upcoming ENGAGE customer conference, the company will showcase how its platform serves as the execution layer where AI meets everyday work, helping teams connect data, decisions and outcomes at enterprise scale. Magic Quadrant reports are a culmination of rigorous, fact-based research in specific markets, providing a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the providers in markets where growth is high, and provider differentiation is distinct. Providers are positioned into four quadrants: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries and Niche Players. The research enables businesses to get the most from market analysis in alignment with their unique business and technology needs. Smartsheet names Komal Thadani as Senior Director, EMEA Field & Partner Marketing.

Smartsheet names Komal Thadani as Senior Director, EMEA Field & Partner Marketing. Smartsheet has named Komal Thadani as Senior Director, EMEA Field & Partner Marketing, adding a new leadership role focused on regional marketing, field programs, and partner engagement across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Thadani brings extensive experience in enterprise technology marketing and has worked across cloud, SaaS, and business technology companies. Before joining Smartsheet, she held senior marketing roles at ServiceNow, where she led EMEA solutions and industry marketing. Earlier in her career, she held marketing positions at Oracle, IBM, and Accenture, working across technology and enterprise-focused marketing programs. At ServiceNow, Thadani was responsible for solutions and industry marketing across EMEA, with experience spanning cloud and SaaS solutions. Her background also includes marketing strategy across different regional markets and technology segments. Her move to Smartsheet places her within the company's EMEA marketing organization, with responsibility for field and partner marketing. These functions typically connect regional marketing programs with sales teams and channel partners, helping coordinate campaigns, events, demand-generation activities, and partner engagement. The appointment comes as enterprise software companies increasingly rely on regional and partner ecosystems to support go-to-market activity. Field marketing teams often work closely with sales organizations to adapt global messaging for local markets, while partner marketing connects vendors with technology providers, resellers, and other ecosystem participants. Thadani's previous experience across enterprise technology companies provides a background in working with complex B2B products and regional marketing programs. Her appointment also reflects the expanding role of field and partner marketing as technology companies manage increasingly distributed sales and partner networks. At Smartsheet, her remit brings together two closely connected areas of B2B marketing, regional field activity and partner engagement, as the company continues to operate across the EMEA market.

Robbins LLP reminds SMAR stockholders of the October 5, 2026 Lead Plaintiff deadline in the securities class action on behalf of the sellers of Smartsheet Inc.

Robbins LLP reminds SMAR stockholders of the October 5, 2026 Lead Plaintiff deadline in the securities class action on behalf of the sellers of Smartsheet Inc. September 25, 2026 18:18 ET | Source: Robbins LLP SAN DIEGO, Sept. 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Robbins LLP reminds investors that a securities class action has been filed on behalf of all sellers of Smartsheet Inc. (NYSE: SMAR) common stock between June 1, 2024 and September 23, 2024 (the "Class Period"). Smartsheet is a software-as-a service company that offers its cloud-based work management platform and other professional services. The complaint alleges that Smartsheet and certain of its senior executives violated the federal securities laws by repurchasing outstanding shares from shareholders with knowledge that a purchaser was proposing to acquire the shares at a significant premium to Smartsheet's then stock price. Investors who suffered losses during the Class Period may have legal rights. If you want to seek appointment as lead plaintiff, you must submit your papers to the court by October 5, 2026. Why Was Smartsheet Sued? The complaint alleges that Blackstone Inc. and Vista Equity Partners Management (the "Consortium") approached Smartsheet on January 24, 2024, with a credible offer to acquire all the Company's outstanding stock for $56.25 cash per share offer. Smartsheet's board rejected the initial offer but resumed discussions between July and September 2024. On September 24, 2024, Smartsheet announced the execution of a merger agreement for the Consortium to acquire Smartsheet for $56.50 per share. According to the complaint, Smartsheet repurchased its shares while failing to disclose it was in conversations about the Company's acquisition by the Consortium. In total, Smartsheet repurchased 1,128,000 of its outstanding shares from unsuspecting investors for approximately $50 million between June 2024 and August 2024, despite knowing that the Consortium was proposing offers at a significant premium to Smartsheet's then stock price. At the same time, defendants made misleading statements touting this significant repurchase activity, updating investors about these buybacks during the Class Period, all with no disclosure concerning the Consortium's credible offer(s) to acquire Smartsheet shares at materially higher prices. As a result, Smartsheet omitted material information about the Consortium's offers that the Company had a duty to disclose, and defendants made material misrepresentations about Smartsheet's repurchases, in violation of the federal securities laws. When investors learned the truth that the Consortium was willing to buy all the Company's outstanding stock for a significant premium above the trading price, Smartsheet's stock price climbed sharply. Who May Be Eligible? The lawsuit seeks to represent investors who sold Smartsheet Inc. common stock during the applicable Class Period. If you sold Smartsheet stock during this period and suffered investment losses, you may have rights under the federal securities laws. What Is a Lead Plaintiff? The lead plaintiff is the investor appointed by the court to represent the interests of the proposed class throughout the litigation. Shareholders who wish to seek appointment as lead plaintiff must do so by October 5, 2026. Investors do not have to serve as lead plaintiff to potentially share in any recovery if the lawsuit is successful. Does It Cost Anything to Participate? No. Robbins LLP represents investors on a contingency fee basis. Why Robbins LLP? A recognized leader in shareholder rights litigation, Robbins LLP has helped restore more than $2 billion in value to shareholders and secured some of the largest recoveries in shareholder derivative litigation history. "Behind everything we do is the belief that companies should be governed responsibly, fiduciaries should be held accountable, and shareholders deserve transparency and fairness," said Brian J. INVESTOR ALERT: Pomerantz law Firm reminds investors with losses on their investment in Smartsheet, Inc. of class action lawsuit and upcoming deadlines - SMAR.

INVESTOR ALERT: Pomerantz law Firm reminds investors with losses on their investment in Smartsheet, Inc. of class action lawsuit and upcoming deadlines - SMAR. Sep 24, 2026, 17:39 ET NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Pomerantz LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Smartsheet, Inc. ("Smartsheet" or the "Company") (NYSE: SMAR). Such investors are advised to contact Danielle Peyton at [email protected] or 646-581-9980, (or 888.4-POMLAW), toll-free, Ext. 7980. Those who inquire by e-mail are encouraged to include their mailing address, telephone number, and the number of shares purchased. The class action concerns whether Smartsheet and certain of its officers and/or directors have engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. You have until October 5, 2026, to ask the Court to appoint you as Lead Plaintiff for the class if you purchased or otherwise acquired Smartsheet securities during the Class Period. A copy of the Complaint can be obtained at www.pomerantzlaw.com. A class action lawsuit has been filed, alleging that defendants, throughout the Class Period, failed to disclose material information, which artificially deflated the price of Smartsheet common stock. On January 24, 2024, Smartsheet received an unsolicited non-public offer from Blackstone Inc. and Vista Equity Partners Management, LLC (together, the "Consortium") to purchase all the outstanding shares of Smartsheet for $56.25 per share. In April 2024, Smartsheet's Board of Directors approved a share repurchase program under which Smartsheet could repurchase up to $150 million of its outstanding stock. On July 8, 2024, the Consortium raised its offer to $56.50 per share. Subsequently, on August 21, 2024, the Consortium reiterated its offer to purchase all the outstanding shares of Smartsheet at $56.50 per share. The class action lawsuit alleges that while these offers were on the table and unknown to the investing public, Smartsheet was repurchasing its common stock at market prices significantly below the prices offered by the Consortium. Smartsheet had an obligation to disclose that it had received a formal acquisition offer from the Consortium or abstain from purchasing Smartsheet stock from unsuspecting investors. During the Class Period (i.e., between June 1, 2024 and September 23, 2024), Smartsheet's average stock price was $46.45 per share. September 24, 2024, during pre-market hours, Smartsheet disclosed the transaction with the Consortium. The merger eventually closed on January 22, 2025, with the Consortium acquiring Smartsheet for $56.50 per share. Pomerantz LLP, with offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv, is acknowledged as one of the premier firms in the areas of corporate, securities, and antitrust class litigation. Founded by the late Abraham L. Pomerantz, known as the dean of the class action bar, Pomerantz pioneered the field of securities class actions. Today, more than 85 years later, Pomerantz continues in the tradition he established, fighting for the rights of the victims of securities fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, and corporate misconduct. The Firm has recovered numerous multimillion-dollar damages awards on behalf of class members. See www.pomlaw.com. Attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes.
