Eviden launches ASTRA-LAS AI decision-support tool to speed up naval warfare operations

Eviden, the Atos Group product brand, has launched ASTRA-LAS, a decision-support tool for naval officers and operators. The company announced the solution in Paris on October 27, 2026. ASTRA-LAS uses operational data to give above-water warfare operators a clearer view of their tactical environment, along with automated analyses and mission-specific recommendations. Eviden says it reduces cognitive workload and shortens decision-making cycles. It is the naval application of Atos Codex, a real-time decision-making platform Atos recently launched. New features and updates can be added during deployments at sea. The tool includes digital orders of battle from Racine Group and AI-based route optimisation from HawAI.tech.

Atos launches Genesis Intelligence AI suite and Codex for mission-critical decisions

Atos has launched Atos Genesis Intelligence, an AI suite that combines sovereign data management, AI models, secure orchestration and governance in one ecosystem. The company announced it in Paris on October 26, 2026. The suite targets regulated, data-sensitive organisations. It can run on public cloud, sovereign cloud, on-premises and air-gapped systems. Atos also introduced Atos Codex, which stands for Center of Operations and Data EXcellence. The platform links data, operational context, cybersecurity controls and AI reasoning, so organisations can turn insights into actions under human oversight. It is aimed at critical infrastructure operators, transportation providers, defence agencies and public institutions. "Organizations are looking beyond AI experimentation," said Philippe Salle, chairman and chief executive officer of Atos Group.

Atos completes digital workplace overhaul for 30,000 Orange Business users in 60 countries

Atos has completed a global digital workplace overhaul for Orange Business, the company announced on October 20, 2026. The programme, called "MyDesk," covers nearly 30,000 users in more than 60 countries. It is part of a seven-year contract signed in early 2024, and it is the first of this scale to outsource digital workplace services at Orange Business. The migration took two years, starting with France and then moving to major service centres and the remaining countries. Employees now use a single portal for support, incident management, and device requests. The system runs on a ServiceNow IT service management platform, which replaced several legacy support chains with one operating model. The contract also includes carbon reporting and Green IT practices. Both companies are exploring generative AI uses.
