Lyst operates an online fashion marketplace that aggregates products from more than 12,000 brands and stores worldwide, letting shoppers browse and compare items in one place. Its platform uses a powerful search engine and personalized recommendations to surface products, trends, and new arrivals, and it enables brand and release alerts to notify users when items drop or go on sale. Sales are earned mainly through a commission on purchases, and it offers a membership program that notifies members when items go on sale to encourage purchases. Compared with competitors, Lyst differentiates itself with its large network of partners, tailored shopping experiences, trend updates, and alert features that help users find desired fashion quickly and at favorable prices. The overall goal is to simplify online fashion shopping by consolidating a global catalog in one site, helping customers discover items they want and make buying decisions more efficiently.

CHANEL ranks as world's hottest fashion brand (Lyst).

CHANEL ranks as world's hottest fashion brand (Lyst). Posted On April 29, 2026 CPP-LUXURY The Q1 2026 Lyst index ranks Chanel as the world's most in-demand brand from January to March. Q126 marks the introduction of Lyst's "evolved" index methodology, now structured around three core data dimensions. These are "Desire, Demand, and Discovery [to] reflect how consumers engage with fashion online today, blending new signals from shopping behaviour, cultural influence, and new discovery pathways, including AI-driven search and creator ecosystems, to provide a new approach to measuring brand heat". Saint Laurent dropped one place to number two with Dior another new entry at number three and Miu Miu down two to fourth place. Behind them, Gucci jumped four places to fifth, while Ralph Lauren, Prada and Coach fell two places each to sixth, seventh and eighth spots. Meanwhile H&M's COS plunged seven places to number nine and Burberry dipped by one place to take 10th spot. The rest of the top 20 included The Row, Versace, Moncler, Chloé, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, Stone Island, Inditex's Massimo Dutti, Fendi and Celine (another new entry). Focusing on some of the individual brands, Lyst said Chanel saw "intense shopper demand and peak cultural visibility. Matthieu Blazy's new pieces (including the Chanel pumps and Maxi Flap bag, which also appear on the Hottest Products list this quarter) ignited a digital groundswell, spreading from inner circle tastemakers outward, when they landed in March". Gucci was back in the top five for the first time since Q422. Demna's "divisive new direction drove explosive social media buzz, increasing visibility beyond fashion circles. Early signals show shoppers on Lyst are beginning to respond; demand increased 12% day-on-day following the show". And Versace gained ground "with demand growth [of] 17% quarter-on-quarter, as customers respond to Dario Vitale's debut and departure". As for those hottest products, Saint Laurent's stand-collar jacket was top followed by Chanel pumps. The Adidas Chinese-style track top was third ahead of Celine's ballet lace-up shoes. Next was the Vivienne Westwood dress ahead of the Chanel Maxi-Flap bag and Saint Laurent's Butterfly sunglasses. Trader Joe's tote bag was at number eight, ahead of Village PM 1PM sneakers and Kangol's Tropic 504 flat cap.
