  • Strong command of contracting, commercial and risk terms, supplier management, and procure-to-Pay processes and controls.
  • Comfort with spend and data analysis to identify savings opportunities and build credible, technically anchored budget baselines.

  • Influence business teams and budgets with savings opportunities based on spend analyses and business insight; challenge requirements and optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Own executive-level supplier relationships, including supplier performance, risk, concentration, and innovation; vet suppliers and keep contracts aligned with the company's risk appetite.
  • Research, identify, and onboard high-quality vendors according to market best practices, and run comprehensive requests for proposals for strategic categories.
  • Streamline intake-to-purchase-order and intake-to-request-for-proposal workflows and apply automation and artificial intelligence across the chain to reduce transaction costs while maintaining process adoption and clean audit trails.
  • Partner with financial planning and analysis and business stakeholders to anchor strategic budgets in technical baselines, improve savings reporting, and strengthen cost and capital expenditure governance.
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performing team; recruit, coach, and retain talent, and contribute hands-on when needed.
