League of Ireland Premier Division returns to EA Sports FC 27 for a 20th season. sponsored by All ten SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division clubs are back in EA Sports FC 27, which launches worldwide today. It marks 20 consecutive seasons of the League of Ireland top flight in EA's football series, going all the way back to its debut in September 2007. Every Premier Division club and its domestic players are fully licensed, so you can take your local side into a Kick-Off match or a Career Mode save. EA is also bringing back free downloadable club covers for all ten clubs, which means your copy can sit on the shelf in your own team's colours rather than a global superstar's. Which League of Ireland clubs are in EA Sports FC 27? The ten clubs are Bohemians, Derry City, Drogheda United, Dundalk, Galway United, Shamrock Rovers, Shelbourne, Sligo Rovers, St Patrick's Athletic and Waterford. That lines up with the 2026 Premier Division, so Dundalk return to the game's roster after being promoted as champions from the First Division last year, while Cork City drop out following relegation to the First Division. The League of Ireland Women's Premier Division doesn't appear in EA's list of licensed women's leagues for FC 27, which covers the Barclays Women's Super League, NWSL, Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Liga F Moeve and Arkema Première Ligue. Kindly sponsored by What else is new in EAFC 27? Beyond the Irish licence, the headline addition is The Grounds, a new social mode where you create your own avatar and explore a freely walkable game world. Ultimate Team gets a new FUT Gallery, and there's the usual round of gameplay changes across all modes. EA puts the overall roster at more than 21,000 players from 800-plus clubs and national teams, spread across 35-plus leagues and 130-plus stadiums. Those are EA's own counts, but the big licences are all present, including the Premier League, LALIGA, Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. 'EA SPORTS FC Mobile' gets "FC 27" Update, out now.

'EA SPORTS FC Mobile' gets "FC 27" Update, out now. Injuring your opponent's players on-the-go. 48 minutes ago Become a Member Today, publisher Electronic Arts announced that their "FC 27" Season Update is now available for their free-to-play football simulation title 'EA SPORTS FC Mobile' across iOS and Android via Google Play. Celebrating three years of being on the platforms, this year's Season Update brings new ways for players to get more from their squad and take greater control before and during matches. The all-new Gauntlet Mode and Game Plans lead the update, alongside new PlayStyles and a refreshed visual experience and a host of gameplay improvements, giving players more ways to customize and control The World's Game on their mobile device. The new season also kicks off alongside the FC Mobile Anniversary Event, a month-long, community-driven celebration. This event brings back fan-favorite gameplay features from the past year, including Team of the Year (TOTY) upgrades, Team of the Season (TOTS) tag combos, and the iconic Bernabéu Stadium. Across ten distinct chapters, players can revisit familiar FC Mobile events, build their squads and earn rewards while enjoying this new era for FC Mobile with the 27 Season Update. "With the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, we're giving players more ways to get the most from the squads they build and greater control over how they approach each match," said Kevin Liu, General Manager FC Mobile. "Whether you're building out your line-up, adapting your tactics or taking on a new challenge, we want every match to give players more ways to make meaningful choices and play The World's Game their way." Gauntlet Mode is an all-new PvE experience that puts squad depth to the test, challenging players to progress through a series of matches while making use of their roster's scope and talent. Player appearance limits encourage squad rotation, while different objectives and match modifiers ask players to think strategically about the line-up they take into each challenge. Game Plans give players greater tactical control before and during matches, with the ability to create up to four combinations of formations and five mentalities - Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking and Ultra Attacking. Players can switch between Game Plans during supported matches to react and adapt as the action unfolds. The FC Mobile 27 Season Update also introduces two new PlayStyles, expanding player choice on the pitch across passing and set pieces: * Incisive Through Pass - More accurate, leading ground through passes. * Dead Ball - Revamped free kicks with greater bend and precision for players with the appropriate attributes and PlayStyle. A refreshed visual experience gives the new season of FC Mobile an updated look and feel, elevating match presentation across the gameplay HUD, loading screens, player indicators and other elements throughout the experience. Beyond the 27 Season Update, MLS action continues in EA SPORTS FC Mobile on October 10, when players worldwide can watch Vancouver Whitecaps FC take on Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) live at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET through the in-game FCM TV portal. As part of EA SPORTS FC's collaboration with Major League Soccer and Apple TV, fans can tune into the live in-game simulcast* and be rewarded with in-game currency. With the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, there are more ways to build, play and stay connected to the action, as the wider EA SPORTS FC community looks ahead to the September 25 launch of EA SPORTS FC 27, available now through Early Access with the Ultimate Edition**. EA Sports FC 27 - how to complete Streamlined SBCs.

EA Sports FC 27 - how to complete Streamlined SBCs. Published Sep 21, 2026, 6:51 PM EDT Niall (pronounced Ny-ul) is a UK-based writer who has been writing about Magic: The Gathering throughout his entire career, with everything from new set breakdowns and individual deck guides to offering his opinions on the state of formats and the general direction of the iconic TCG. Niall also has a rich history covering triple-A releases, sports games, and PC hardware. A new type of Squad Building Challenge has landed in EA Sports FC 27, and it's supposed to make earning big rewards to upgrade your Ultimate Team much easier, but early signs suggest this is far from the truth. Streamlined SBCs focus on quantity over quality, as you aim to meet a total card value rather than ticking off objectives like you would in a normal SBC. The only issue is that the first two big Streamlined SBCs of FC 27 are both asking for far too much for very little in return. So, let's take a closer look at Streamlined SBCs and whether they're the answer to the SBC grind that EA hopes they are. What is A Streamlined SBC? A Streamlined SBC is a new challenge that asks you to submit players to meet a total score, rather than multiple objectives based on nationality, team, or ratings. Each Streamlined SBC has a point target, and you can select any eligible players from your library, regardless of their rarity, to submit them as you try to achieve this target score. They're a mix between classic SBCs and the new Gallery feature in many ways. A Streamlined SBC can be identified in the menu by the point target displayed at the bottom of the page. A normal SBC will still say X/X completed, depending on how many tasks there are. EA laid out Streamlined SBCs as a less complicated alternative to regular SBCs, and the idea was to take the grind away and give players fewer restrictions to work with when trying to earn rewards for their team. How to complete A Streamlined SBC. Streamlined SBCs may still have some restrictions, but there are far fewer than a regular SBC. For instance, the first two major Streamlined SBCs in FC 27 only have the requirement that every player be rated over 45, something that's a given in Ultimate Team. Future Streamlined SBCs may call for specific subsets of players, like ones from certain leagues or nationalities, but they have not yet come into play. Issues with Streamlined SBCs. So far, the main issue with Streamlined SBCs is that you have to give up more, not less, to complete them. With a 20,000-point target for the Bouaddi Ones to Watch or Ones to Watch player pick Streamlined SBC, you would need 10 85-rated players, worth 2,100 points each, to complete it. Of course, you could mix this up and have five 85-rated players, then pick a bunch of cheaper bronze players, but you can only submit 30 players per Streamlined SBC, meaning the idea that you can get rid of a ton of low-rated players to upgrade to much better ones is misleading. Player value is determined by the overall and then whether it's a base or special version of a card. So far, you would be giving up around the same for a typical one-shot SBC compared to the Streamlined ones, just with no restrictions or tertiary objectives to meet. The idea that these new SBCs were supposed to contribute to the Ultimate Team grind being reduced simply isn't being met, so unless changes are made, Streamlined SBCs aren't really worth the effort either. Here's hoping that adjustments are made fairly soon to get their value on par with what was expected when the feature was first revealed. MCS Pro League opens Full Sail career doors.

MCS Pro League opens Full Sail career doors. The MCS Pro League has already shifted Madden esports from a mostly event-by-event ladder into a more visible career classroom for Full Sail University students. EA's new Madden NFL 27 Championship Series format began on September 15, 2026, and Full Sail's campus role gives students a rare chance to work near the center of a publisher-run competitive circuit rather than on a simulated class project. That distinction matters for esports careers. Many students can produce campus tournaments, run club broadcasts, or volunteer at local events. Fewer get repeated exposure to publisher standards, on-air timing, remote talent needs, competitive integrity workflows, and the pressure of a recognized championship series. Full Sail's involvement does not guarantee a job for every student, but it does create documented work samples in a corner of esports where production credits often matter as much as a degree title. What the MCS Pro League changed in Madden. EA announced the Madden NFL 27 Championship Series with an elite eight-player league that began on September 15, 2026, using a two-track entry system: four players were invited from the 2025-26 Madden Bowl and Points leaderboard, while four spots came through the Pro League Qualifier held from August 22 through September 7, 2026. EA also listed $750,000 in total MCS 27 prize money across events, with $200,000 assigned to the Pro League itself in the official MCS 27 announcement. Why the MCS Pro League format matters. By limiting MCS Pro League entry to eight competitors, EA created a smaller weekly focal point than a broad open bracket. That has consequences behind the camera. A smaller field can make story development easier for producers, researchers, graphics teams, and casters because the same competitors return across broadcasts. For students, that repetition can teach a practical lesson: esports production is not only about calling big plays. It is also about building context, tracking player identity, and giving viewers enough structure to care without overstating what a single match means. The open path still matters. Breakouts began on September 19, 2026 and was scheduled to run through October 6, 2026. Most Feared was scheduled for October 10 through November 11, 2026, Zero Chill for November 21 through December 15, 2026, and the Last Chance Qualifier for December 19, 2026 through January 10, 2027. Those stages keep the broader competitive community connected to Madden Bowl qualification, while the league format gives production teams a repeatable tentpole to build around. Full Sail student work moves closer to the main feed. Full Sail said its campus would host MCS 27 live events, with Madden Bowl 27 scheduled for February 9 through February 11, 2027 at Full Sail Live. The university also said students in entertainment, media, and sportscasting degree programs would take part in live event production, broadcast operations, content creation, and on-air roles, while EA would hire approximately 100 Full Sail graduates into production roles for the season in its Full Sail announcement. Campus production as career evidence. For students, the most useful part is not just proximity to a recognizable brand. It is the ability to point to a specific workflow. A student who helps manage assets, supports a producer, logs match notes, builds social clips, assists talent, or works on a secondary broadcast can explain exactly what they did under deadline conditions. That is stronger than a vague claim of being interested in esports. This is where collegiate esports career development often succeeds or fails. Schools can build teams and clubs, but the strongest programs connect competition to work experience. Full Sail's Madden season role fits the same broader pattern seen in campus esports efforts that try to turn events into employment pathways, a subject MostPlays has also covered through Baylor's esports careers structure. There is also a community effect. Students who see classmates on a headset, behind a camera, or at a broadcast desk can better understand the range of jobs around esports. Not every student wants to be a pro player. Many want to edit, produce, observe, cast, write, direct, or manage talent. A campus event calendar gives those students a visible map of possible roles. Broadcast roles are the real student opening. For sportscasting students, the MCS Pro League gives a cleaner bridge between classroom reps and professional expectations. Full Sail said talent from its Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting would be hired to join EA's on-air talent at the main broadcast desk for the duration of MCS 27. It also said sportscasting students would shoutcast B-stream broadcasts. On-Air practice without pretending it is easy. B-stream work should not be treated as a lesser assignment. Secondary feeds often demand sharper fundamentals because the support system can be thinner. Casters may need to carry more explanatory weight, react to technical changes, and keep energy steady without the same audience size or production cushion as the main show. That makes it useful training for students who need reps in pacing, game knowledge, handoff discipline, and criticism from working professionals. There is a risk, though. Student engagement can become shallow if it is framed only as access. The stronger version gives students pre-show preparation, post-show review, defined roles, and feedback they can use in reels and résumés. Full Sail's partnership has the ingredients for that kind of experience, but the career value will depend on how clearly student labor is credited, mentored, and connected to future applications. The gear side of production will always attract attention, especially for students building home studios and creator setups. For readers who track that part of gaming culture, Cooler Master Gaming is another part of its network focused on technology and hardware, supporting the broader discourse on production gear, but the central story here is the human pipeline behind the broadcast. The calendar gives students repetition. The MCS 27 schedule is useful because it is not a one-night showcase. It gives students multiple points to learn, make mistakes, adjust, and return with stronger habits. The Pro League started on September 15, 2026. Breakouts started four days later. Other qualifiers continue through January 10, 2027, before Madden Bowl 27 arrives on February 9, 2027. Dates that shape the workload. That rhythm is valuable for students because esports work is rarely a single polished moment. It is preparation, rehearsal, execution, review, and then another show. A student who works across several dates can leave with a better sense of whether they enjoy the pace of live production or only the idea of esports. Full Sail and the MCS Pro League career signal. The MCS Pro League matters for Full Sail because it turns Madden esports into a practical career signal, not just a campus event. Students can build clips, credits, references, and a clearer sense of where they fit in the production chain. The strongest outcome would be a season where student work is visible, credited, and connected to jobs beyond February 2027. For the Madden community, the benefit is different but related. Better-trained broadcast workers can make competitive Madden easier to follow, especially for viewers who only check in during championship windows. If Full Sail's student pipeline produces stronger casters, producers, editors, and event staff, the gain is not limited to one school. It feeds the wider esports labor pool that every publisher circuit eventually needs.
