made by Fressko Amazon Australia sales grow by 71% with Pattern. October 27, 2026 Buy-sell partnership helps sustainable drinkware brand improve availability, Buy Box performance and marketplace growth MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Melbourne-based sustainable drinkware brand made by Fressko has grown sales on Amazon Australia by more than 71% in the past quarter through its partnership with global ecommerce and marketplace accelerator Pattern. Founded in Melbourne in 2014 by childhood friends Sean Atme and Lucas Ciancarelli, made by Fressko has grown from a reusable coffee cup start-up into a global drinkware brand, with a range spanning coffee cups, water bottles, tumblers and accessories. As the business expanded, ecommerce increased its customer base, helping the brand to enter new markets and drive sales both in Australia and internationally. While Amazon Australia became an increasingly important sales channel for made by Fressko, managing the growing complexity of the marketplace was becoming a challenge for its existing ecommerce team. made by Fressko partnered with Pattern to grow its Amazon business, using a buy-sell model where Pattern purchases inventory directly from the brand and manages marketplace sales. "As a growing brand with an expanding Australian and international presence, partnering with Pattern gives us the opportunity to accelerate our growth by leveraging their expertise, resources and capabilities," explained Damien Zumbo, International Sales Manager at made by Fressko. "Working with Pattern has taken that pressure off our team and given us access to the technology, expertise and insights to grow the channel." Since the partnership began, made by Fressko's Amazon in-stock rate has risen from 63% to 91%, contributing to its increased Buy Box win rate percentage, which has more than doubled (42% to 97%). Pattern has optimised made by Fressko's Amazon advertising and content, using data and technology to direct advertising spend where it can drive additional sales, alongside improvements to product images, brandstore & A+ content, keywords and search engine optimisation. This has resulted in made by Fressko achieving an average return on advertising spend (ROAS) of around 8.2x, while advertising costs have remained relatively steady as sales have grown. "Strong marketplace advertising isn't about spending more, it's about spending strategically," said Merline McGregor, Managing Director, at Pattern Australia. "For made by Fressko, we've used Pattern's proprietary data and technology to identify where advertising can drive additional sales and where the brand is already performing well organically, continually adjusting investment accordingly. Achieving a strong return on investment while avoiding increases in advertising costs clearly demonstrates the impact of making a brand's spend work harder." The partnership has also simplified made by Fressko's Amazon operations. Under Pattern's buy-sell model, Pattern determines its inventory requirements and places a purchase order with the brand, removing much of the Amazon-specific administration and fulfillment work previously managed internally. "The partnership with Pattern has freed up a lot of our team's time and streamlined the process," said Zumbo. "Previously, managing Amazon replenishment could delay other customer orders by a day or two. Now, our warehouse team spends less time on Amazon-specific labelling, packing and stock planning, so they can focus on getting orders for our other sales channels out the door that day." While Amazon Australia is the first market being explored through the partnership, made by Fressko is now looking at opportunities to work with Pattern on its Amazon operations in other international markets, such as Singapore and Malaysia. "Australia is our testbed and the results have given us the confidence to start looking at what comes next," Zumbo added. "The plan is to slowly grow country by country with Pattern. Having a partner with the technology, knowledge and marketplace expertise to help us scale gives us confidence as we look at opportunities in new markets," he concluded. The Sennheiser Consumer brand partners with Pattern, strengthening marketplace strategy with ai-powered insights.

The Sennheiser Consumer brand partners with Pattern, strengthening marketplace strategy with ai-powered insights. Pattern | Published 27 Aug 2026 Marketplace expertise and AI-powered intelligence help leading audio brand build a stronger foundation for long-term ecommerce growth Leading global ecommerce and marketplace accelerator, Pattern, announced a new partnership with premium consumer audio brand Sennheiser, to advance its third-party (3P) marketplace performance in Australia through specialist marketplace expertise and AI-powered insights. As the Sennheiser consumer brand looked to strengthen its presence on Amazon Australia for their consumer products, the brand sought a specialist partner with the expertise and resources needed to maximise the opportunity. "Successfully managing a marketplace requires significant capability and resources. As a smaller business with a lean team, we simply didn't have the capacity to get the most out of it," said Jonathan Morley, General Manager - ANZ at Sennheiser Consumer Hearing. "What stood out about Pattern was the depth of their knowledge. They had the resources and understanding of Amazon that we needed to succeed," added Morley. With Pattern's specialist marketplace expertise, the Sennheiser consumer brand gained greater visibility into its marketplace ecosystem, identifying unauthorised third-party resellers operating within the Australian market and taking steps to better protect its brand presence on the platform. "One of the biggest advantages of partnering with a marketplace specialist is the ability to uncover opportunities brands often don't realise exist," said Merline McGregor, Managing Director ANZ, Pattern. "For the Sennheiser consumer brand, that included identifying unauthorised third-party resellers operating within the local market, giving the business greater visibility into its marketplace ecosystem and helping protect its brand while unlocking new opportunities for growth." What began as a partnership focused on strengthening the brand's Amazon marketplace presence quickly evolved into a broader ecommerce relationship. As the brand looked to make faster, more informed decisions, it adopted Pattern Intelligence (PI), Pattern's AI-powered analytics platform. Rather than manually analysing reports or navigating multiple dashboards, PI allows teams to ask natural language questions and instantly access the information they need, turning complex ecommerce data into actionable insights in seconds. For the Sennheiser consumer brand, this has transformed the way their team interacts with marketplace data. "Before PI, we had no shortage of data. In fact, we had an overwhelming amount of information. The challenge was knowing where to focus our attention," explained Morley. "Now, I can ask one question and PI answers it. It even surfaces additional insights before I've even thought about what to ask next." McGregor explained that AI is changing how brands interact with ecommerce data. "The Sennheiser consumer brand's experience reflects a challenge we see across the ecommerce industry. Most brands already have access to the data they need. The difficult part is knowing which insights to act on," she explained. "PI removes that barrier by allowing teams to ask questions in plain language and providing immediate actionable insights." Beyond analytics, Morley said Pattern has become an extension of the brand's ecommerce team, significantly simplifying the process of delivering new premium marketplace assets, reducing the time and effort required from the brand 's internal team. "Pattern has taken a huge amount of work off our plate. Instead of weeks of back and forth, it's now simply a case of opening the asset, reviewing it and saying, 'We love it. Please proceed.' What would normally take around 20 hours of work on both sides now takes us five minutes," said Morley. Looking ahead, the Sennheiser consumer brand expects the combination of marketplace expertise, creative execution and AI-powered insights will play an increasingly important role in informing its broader ecommerce strategy. "At the moment, PI has been incredibly valuable for our marketplace strategy, but I see its role becoming much broader. "As we bring more of our ecommerce data together, it's going to give us a much more complete picture of the business and become a real driver of future growth across the board," Morley concluded.
