Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, with at least 5+ years leading large, outbound-centric sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-velocity, phone-based outbound teams selling to small and medium-sized business and mid-market customers.
  • Proven track record of owning the full revenue funnel across acquisition, activation, expansion, and retention and hitting or exceeding aggressive growth targets.
  • Experience managing managers and leading organizations of comparable scale, such as 5–10 frontline managers and 40+ individual contributors.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling sales teams quickly, including hiring and ramping significant Account Executive headcount in compressed timeframes.
  • Strong systems-thinking capability, including designing processes, structures, and operating rhythms that scale predictably.
  • Deep comfort with data and metrics, including pipeline analysis, conversion funnels, capacity planning, headcount modeling, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent and build a culture of high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to operate at both the boardroom and frontline levels.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the integrated revenue strategy across new-logo acquisition, activation of new customers, expansion and cross-sell, and retention.
  • Set clear goals, metrics, and leading indicators for each pillar of the revenue funnel, including outreach activity, conversion rates, activation milestones, expansion revenue, net revenue retention, and gross revenue retention.
  • Build and maintain a disciplined forecasting and pipeline-management process that drives predictability and accountability.
  • Scale and optimize the phone-based, outbound sales engine that drives the majority of new business.
  • Ensure teams execute effectively on call quality, talk time, sequences, objection handling, and deal progression.
  • Implement and refine playbooks, scripts, talk tracks, and cadences designed for high-velocity environments.
  • Continuously improve funnel performance through testing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and execute a strategy to move up-market, including targeting larger fleets and more complex accounts.
  • Recruit, hire, and ramp more than 20 Account Executives in the next six months, ensuring the right mix of small and medium-sized business, mid-market, and up-market capabilities.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations to align the ideal customer profile, messaging, packaging, and pricing with the up-market strategy.
  • Develop differentiated sales motions for larger, more complex customers while maintaining the small and medium-sized business foundation.
  • Design and refine a structured expansion and cross-sell motion focused on multi-product adoption and increasing share of wallet.
  • Build out an Account Management function responsible for ongoing relationship management, strategic account planning, and retention.
  • Define success metrics and operating rhythms for account managers, including renewal health, expansion pipeline, and net revenue retention.
  • Ensure tight coordination between New Business, Account Management, Customer Success, and Support.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six sales leaders and more than 55 individual contributors across full-time employee and business process outsourcing teams.
  • Own recruiting and selection for the organization, ensuring the organization hires talent aligned with the stated culture and standards.
  • Create and reinforce consistent activity, follow-through, clean pipeline hygiene, and high-quality customer interactions.
  • Implement onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching programs to elevate performance.
  • Hold teams and leaders accountable to clear standards, with transparent performance management and rapid course correction where needed.
  • Design processes and structures that scale efficiently rather than relying on individual heroics.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations to ensure the customer relationship management system, reporting, territory design, compensation plans, and sales tooling support the strategy.
  • Instrument the revenue engine with clean data, reliable dashboards, and actionable insights that inform daily execution and strategic decisions.
  • Lead or support initiatives to improve conversion, reduce friction in the sales process, and shorten time-to-value for new customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation, campaign strategy, and lead quality.
  • Partner with Product and Operations to bring market insights into the roadmap and ensure the company solves important customer problems.
  • Work closely with the executive team on strategic planning, goal setting, and company-level priorities related to growth and profitability.
  • Represent Sales and Revenue in discussions on company strategy, resourcing, and investment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with offshore business process outsourcing teams or global sales teams, especially in high-velocity outbound environments.
  • Background in or close partnership with Revenue Operations, including customer relationship management optimization, territory design, compensation planning, and sales tooling.
  • Familiarity with fintech, payments, logistics, or transportation industries.
  • Experience moving a business up-market from small and medium-sized business into mid-market or enterprise while preserving and scaling the existing core.
  • Prior leadership experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments.

Geotab embeds AtoB's payments platform to verify fuel purchases against vehicle data before approval

AtoB has partnered with Geotab to launch the Geotab Fleet Card, making Geotab the first fleet management platform to embed AtoB's payments platform. The card verifies fuel purchases against vehicle data before approval, preventing unauthorised transactions. The integration brings spend controls across 13 categories, including fuel, maintenance and tolls, directly into Geotab's platform. Fuel purchases are declined if the vehicle isn't at the pump or the tank lacks capacity. Cardholders access AtoB's fuel discount network, saving an average of 42 cents per gallon at over 4,200 diesel truck stops and 5 cents per gallon at 30,000 petrol stations. Eligible accounts receive fraud protection up to $250,000. The card operates natively within Geotab's system, allowing fleet operators to manage transactions, approvals and reporting alongside existing vehicle data. It's now available to eligible US fleets using the Geotab platform.

Can Fleet Management Serve As Beacon For Platformization Of Connected Economy?

Bit by bit the smokestack economy — and the subsets thereof — come online, go digital, find new ways to connect stakeholders. And as counterintuitive as it might seem, fleet management, among the most smokestacky of the stacks, is inching toward becoming a beacon of connectivity, serving perhaps as a roadmap for other sectors. Trucking, of course, remains a key way of getting goods hither and yon. Late last year, the American Trucking Association reported that tonnage will grow to 14.2 billion tons within the next decade, up from a bit more than 11 billion tons in 2023

Roadz plans to integrate generative AI capabilities into the Unified Fleet Workspace, enabling fleet managers to ask questions about their fleet operations using natural language, according to the release. This integration, which is expected to be announced in March, will provide actionable insights based on unified fleet data, facilitating effective decision-making
