Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare leadership, at manager level or above; a combination of education, experience, and background may also be considered.
  • Ability to exercise leadership, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve local and organizational objectives.
  • Experience improving outcomes in assigned areas through creative and sustainable tactics.
  • Ability to use an electronic health record to monitor practice statistics, patient access metrics, and clinic operations.
  • Knowledge of business and medical administration, management, and relationship management principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in an ambulatory setting, including HIPAA, scheduling, and billing.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical and business operations of assigned sites, including delivery of quality clinical services, patient experience, materials management, software implementations, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, environment of care, and facility management.
  • Be available personally or through a designee after hours for emergency facility or operational issues caused by weather, call-outs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Support the strategic direction of Ambulatory Operations and the Institute’s growth playbook by operationalizing new programs and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with physicians, clinical personnel, and administrative leadership to remove barriers to success and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide effective, goal-oriented leadership to direct and indirect reports.
  • Support, cascade, and meet goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for operational areas within the span of control.
  • Support, coordinate, and maintain standardized work procedures and policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across Ambulatory Operations.
  • Coach, develop, educate, mentor, and hold direct reports accountable while fostering an environment of trust.
  • Implement and validate leadership tools such as leader rounding on patients, employees, and providers, and practice reward and recognition of key behaviors.
  • Create quarterly goal action plans focused on meeting annual role-specific and organizational goals.
  • Perform data reporting and analysis to drive decision-making within the span of control.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned or required.
  • Travel between offices.
