About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- American Heart Association CPR certification is required.
- Previous hospital or patient care experience is preferred and/or Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
- Confidence in interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills are required.
- Basic patient care skills are preferred.
- The employee must work the specified shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, four shifts every six weeks, including three weekend shifts and one weekday shift, plus one major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, and one hallmark holiday.
- Provide a safe environment for patients requiring close observation.
- Assist with direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities.
- Contribute to quality patient care as a member of the health care team.
- Previous hospital or patient care experience and/or Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Basic patient care skills.
