- A current unrestricted North Carolina registered nurse license or registered nurse multistate licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.
- An associate degree in nursing is required.
- Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans of care for expectant mothers.
- Assess and monitor patients' health status.
- Provide safe and compassionate care.
- Ensure timely interventions.
- One year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
