About the job

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Certification in AZ-500, MS-500, MS-700, AZ-104, SC-400, or an equivalent certification.
  • At least five years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in cloud administration, including expertise with Azure and other software-as-a-service applications.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Ability to support core hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain the company’s cloud environments, including Azure, Amazon Web Services, and software-as-a-service environments, to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Ensure infrastructure security and compliance by monitoring access, usage, and resources.
  • Perform system backups and recovery to maintain data integrity and availability.
  • Provide technical support for cloud applications and services, and train end users as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to monitor cloud privacy and respond to technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Six or more years of experience supporting Azure Cloud.
  • Certification as an Azure Administrator Associate, MS-102 Administrator Expert, or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL or CISM, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks including CMMC Level 2, GovHigh, 32 CFR, CUI, FedRAMP, NIST-800, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1, and SOC 2, and with internal security best practices.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Local candidates and Goldbelt shareholders are strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with 8(a) companies.
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations.
  • Previous government contracting experience.
