What believers are saying

  • Informed's August 2026 hiring posts show active demand and continued team expansion.
  • Recent 2026 launches broaden its platform stack into location-based case management and agentic AI.
  • The company won MAG and NatureScot work in 2024-2026, validating repeatable public-sector sales.

What critics are saying

  • MAG's £45 million framework has only four suppliers, intensifying price and renewal pressure by 2029.
  • Public-sector concentration exposes revenue to procurement shifts, ministerial changes, and contract churn in 2026.
  • If NatureScot or policing clients replace Informed's platforms, its mission-critical credibility erodes fast.

What makes Informed Solutions unique

  • MAG selected Informed in March 2026 for one of four strategic change suppliers.
  • NatureScot nationally deployed InformedDECISION and InformedINSIGHT for Scotland land management and biodiversity.
  • NPoCC uses Informed's Mercury platform for UK policing mutual aid and re-platforming.

Elizabeth Vega OBE named in UK's Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2026. Informed's Group CEO Elizabeth Vega OBE has been recognised in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2026, delivered in partnership with The Times. The recognition celebrates Elizabeth's leadership and the shared ambition behind Informed's development as a trusted, UK-based international digital, data and AI business, creating lasting value for clients, colleagues and the communities it serves. Since founding Informed in 1992, Elizabeth has championed responsible innovation, investment in people and sustainable, resilient business growth. Today, Informed's platforms and digital services support millions of people, helping organisations improve public services, protect the environment and make better-informed decisions. With two Queen's Awards for Innovation, Informed combines technical expertise with a commitment to the safe and ethical use of technology. Investment in digital skills and career opportunities remains central to its approach, supporting the people and capabilities that underpin its continued growth. Created by LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, in partnership with The Times, the Top 50 programme has celebrated the ambition and achievements of exceptional UK entrepreneurs since 2018. This year's programme attracted more than 620 nominations, recognising leaders who are investing in their people, developing new products and services, and expanding into new markets. Elizabeth Vega OBE, Group CEO of Informed, said: "Ambition is about building something of lasting value: a business that develops mutually beneficial relationships, helps its clients succeed, creates opportunities for its people and makes a positive contribution to society. It is an honour to be named in this year's Top 50, and particularly rewarding to see Informed's ambition recognised as Informed Solutions enter an exciting new chapter in its journey and growth. "This recognition belongs equally to my colleagues, whose talent, integrity and determination have made Informed the business it is today. I am grateful for their commitment and enormously confident in what Informed Solutions can achieve together. "My thanks to LDC and The Times for championing the breadth of entrepreneurial talent across the UK and the contribution these businesses make to our collective prosperity." Together, the businesses represented in this year's programme generate £1.4 billion in annual revenues and employ almost 8,500 people, demonstrating the contribution of medium-sized businesses to communities and the wider UK economy. John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, added: "What stands out about this year's LDC Top 50 is not only what these leaders have already achieved, but their determination to keep moving forward. Across the UK, they are finding new opportunities, investing in their people and building for the future. I congratulate every leader featured this year and wish them continued success."
