Requirements
  • A valid G Driver’s License is required.
  • A clean driver’s abstract is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to drive a manual transmission is considered an asset.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working outdoors.
Responsibilities
  • Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush, or washing equipment.
  • Polish, dry, and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior body surfaces.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the workday and complete final cleanup at the end of the day.
  • Verify receipt of cars delivered to the dealer and park cars in the lot safely and orderly.
  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
  • Inspect cars for damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on invoices, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment.
  • Record descriptions of damage and list missing items on delivery receipts.
  • Assign stock control numbers to cars and catalog and store keys.
  • Re-park cars after sales to maximize space and maintain lot order.
  • Run errands for the dealership, including picking up parts or customers.
  • Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors.
  • Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors, including carpet and upholstery, dashboard and console, door panels, mirrors, and glove compartment.
  • Clean and preserve vehicle exteriors, including wheels, tires, wheel wells, lower body panels, front grille and bumper, and engine compartments.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks on the antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside the vehicle.
  • Transfer vehicles between dealerships in the company group.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
