Tenable launches open AI partner network for security. Wed, 21st Oct 2026 (Today) Tenable has expanded its open technology and partner ecosystem with the launch of Tenable OPEN for AI. The programme adds validated AI workflows for security teams using third-party models, agents and tools. The offering sits within the company's Open Partner Exchange Network and is designed to connect data and workflows across the security stack. Customers can use Tenable's exposure intelligence with their preferred AI tools through standardised Model Context Protocol connectors and direct application programming interfaces. The launch group includes BeyondTrust, Cohesity, Command Zero, Corelight, Infoblox, Recorded Future, Securonix, SentinelOne, Setyl, Snyk, Sparkle In, Splunk and others. The aim is to let security teams investigate risk, prioritise exposures and take action across vendor environments without building custom software. Under the model, customers connect the Tenable Hexa AI MCP Server with partner MCP servers through AI tools they already use. This setup allows teams to interact with datasets from several vendors at the same time. Each use case is offered in two formats: a documented workflow that can be reproduced with a chosen AI tool through the Tenable Hexa AI MCP Server, and a ready-to-use skill on CyberAgents Exchange, the company's AI agent marketplace. Tenable highlighted four examples available at launch. One, developed with SentinelOne, focuses on cross-platform security triage and is designed to let teams investigate alerts, vulnerable assets and misconfigurations through natural language in a single chat window. A second, built with Corelight, combines network telemetry with live Tenable asset context to help security teams assess active threats and prioritise remediation based on the likely blast radius of exposed assets. Another, with Snyk, links application security findings with runtime exposure data to check whether code-level vulnerabilities are present in production environments. The fourth featured workflow, with BeyondTrust, combines privileged account, session and entitlement data with Tenable findings to rank assets using identity context. The broader partner list also includes companies contributing data, workflow or investigation context across different security functions. Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable, described the move as an open approach to AI integration in security operations. "Tenable is the only exposure management provider offering a truly unrestricted, vendor-agnostic ecosystem of validated AI use cases, based on customer demand," said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable. "By supporting both standardised MCP connectors and direct APIs, Tenable OPEN for AI gives security teams complete freedom to integrate their AI tools of choice and build custom, agentic workflows without artificial restrictions or forced reliance on a single proprietary platform," Doerr said. Partner companies said the model gives analysts a way to combine security alerts and asset exposure data within a single workflow. Several of the examples focus on reducing the need for teams to move between separate tools during an investigation. "The ability to unite disjointed data across both endpoints and enterprise risk exposure, and take coordinated, automated action, transforms security teams," said Melissa K. Smith, Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives at SentinelOne. "Our partnership with Tenable OPEN for AI enables customers to see SentinelOne's endpoint analysis and Tenable exposure intelligence side by side. Together, we're delivering a cross-platform triage engine that prioritises risk based on context-rich, real-world insights without requiring complex custom integrations." Splunk pointed to the use of plain-language queries that return alert data with vulnerability context attached. The approach is intended to help analysts determine whether a critical asset is under active attack during an investigation. "Every SOC analyst knows the question that follows an alert: is this asset actually vulnerable?" said Robert Rossetti, Partner Engineer at Splunk. "Tenable OPEN for AI answers it inside the investigation. Analysts can, for example, ask questions in plain language and get Splunk alerts back with Tenable vulnerability context attached, so they can confirm whether a critical asset is under active attack and respond faster." Infoblox said network identity data can add another layer of context to AI-driven workflows. Command Zero, meanwhile, said Tenable findings can feed directly into its investigations and return an approved verdict to Tenable. "As AI assistants take on more of the day-to-day work of security operations, they need ground-truth network context to produce answers teams can act on," said Matt Landry, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Infoblox. "By combining Infoblox network identity data with Tenable exposure intelligence through an open protocol, security teams can understand both what a device is and how exposed it is. This on-demand, correlated view gives AI-driven workflows a network source of truth for prioritising the right assets and moving from signal to action faster." "Every exposure finding raises the same follow-up question: is anyone taking advantage of it?" said Dov Yoran, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Command Zero. "With Tenable OPEN for AI, a priority exposure finding from Tenable feeds directly into a Command Zero investigation, where it provides critical context and helps analysts prioritise response. Every step is recorded and reviewable, and the approved verdict goes back to Tenable, helping exposure and investigation teams avoid pivoting between platforms."
Dispel, an operational technology (OT) secure remote access company, has announced an integration with exposure management firm Tenable at Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo 2026 in Orlando. The tie-up feeds Tenable One OT Exposure's real-time asset data into the Dispel Zero Trust Engine. Access policies now reflect the actual state of each asset, with no manual reconciliation. Dispel combines session and device risk scores into a green, yellow, or red signal, so operators can approve, monitor, or lock down a connection quickly. The integration also builds audit-ready records automatically. Dispel says teams spend $700,000 to $1.2 million a year assembling such evidence by hand. It is available now to joint customers across Tenable's cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments.
Dispel and Tenable bring real-time OT asset risk visibility to every Remote Access decision. The integration announced at the Gartner(R) IT Symposium/Xpo(TM) 2026, combines Tenable One OT Exposure with Dispel, closing the gap between security and operations. ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, October 20, 2026 / EINPresswire.com / - Dispel, recognized as a Cool Vendor in the 2025 Gartner (R) Report: Cool VendorsTM in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Security, today announced at Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo 2026 an integration with Tenable, the exposure management company. The joint offering combines Tenable One OT Exposure with the Dispel Zero Trust Engine, the OT secure remote access platform. This integration extends Tenable's real-time OT/IoT asset intelligence directly into every Dispel remote access decision. Most OT security programs answer to three teams with competing goals: security wants tight controls, operations wants production moving, and GRC needs to prove it all works. As remote access scales across plants, sites, and vendors, every safe access decision rests on one foundation: a current, accurate picture of every asset and who accesses what and when. Without that foundation, security and operations end up working from two different pictures of risk, which is exactly the gap this integration is built to close. "Security teams need visibility into asset risk and vulnerability exposure. Operations teams need speed and uptime on the plant floor. Both are legitimate, and today they too often work from separate pictures of the same risk," said Ben Burke, President and COO of Dispel. "This integration with Tenable puts both pictures in front of the person who has to make the call, at the exact moment they have to make it." Eliminating the Friction Between OT Assets and Secure Remote Access Industrial operations depend on fast, reliable access to critical systems. Legacy VPNs, jump hosts, and fragmented tools introduce delays and manual vendor workflows that slow down the OEMs, contractors, and operators who need to reach mission-critical assets, compounding operational drag across every site and incident. This integration solves that at the source: Tenable One OT Exposure's real-time OT/IoT asset visibility, spanning each asset's characteristics, configuration, behavior, and vulnerability profile, syncs automatically into the Dispel Zero Trust Engine, so access policies always reflect the real state of the environment, with no manual reconciliation. The result is faster onboarding and quicker approvals when you need it most. Session Forensics with Dynamic Risk Scoring, Enriched by Tenable Dispel's Session Forensics continuously evaluates every session from login through disconnect, tracking authentication strength and behavioral baseline to surface shared-credential and vendor-sprawl patterns a standard access log cannot see. Dispel correlates that session data with Tenable's device risk and vulnerability profile, so both scores resolve into one traffic-light color of green, yellow, or red. A green user connecting to a green device gets a standard approval. A green user connecting to a red device may call for over-the-shoulder monitoring or a locked-down connection type. A red session against a red device calls for enhanced security. The result is one clear signal that gives the operator a single decision at production speed. "Tenable closes the cybersecurity gaps across critical infrastructure that erode business value, reputation, and trust for organizations," said Ray Komar, Vice President of Cloud and Technology Alliances, Tenable. "Partnering with Dispel extends that mission into the moment an access decision is made, giving our shared industrial customers a way to act on exposure before it becomes a risk, not after the fact." An Audit Trail That Builds Itself The integration also gives GRC teams a real-time, audit-ready record of secure remote access itself. When Tenable flags a critical vulnerability, security and operations agree on a remediation plan; a vendor technician requests access to patch it; an administrator approves a just-in-time window with session justification; and the technician connects through a recorded, disposable session scoped to exactly what the work requires. Dispel Compliance automatically documents that access in real time, exporting audit-ready evidence across frameworks including NERC CIP, NIST, IEC 62443, and EU NIS2 - without the manual hunt GRC teams currently spend $700,000 to $1.2 million a year assembling (Dispel research, 2026). Once the fix is applied, Tenable confirms the vulnerability closed on its own platform, completing the picture. AVAILABILITY The integration is available now within the Dispel Zero Trust Engine for all joint customers, supporting Tenable's cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment models. There is no gap in device mapping regardless of where a customer is in their OT journey. Dispel will be demonstrating at the Gartner (R) IT Symposium/Xpo(TM) 2026. Keeper Security and Tenable integrate to streamline Cloud Risk detection, remediation and vulnerability assessment. Oct 16, 2026, 07:00 ET With new integrations, Keeper's identity security platform remediates cloud security findings discovered by Tenable in seconds and secures the privileged credentials used for vulnerability scanning CHICAGO, Oct. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Keeper Security, the leading zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity security platform, today announces native integrations with Tenable that eliminate the costly delay between identifying cloud security risks and remediating them while centralizing credential management for comprehensive vulnerability assessment. These integrations allow cloud security teams to move from detection to remediation in a single workflow, without managing manual tickets or switching between tools. Teams can now instantly act on Tenable's findings to rotate compromised credentials, enforce Just-In-Time access and remove standing privileges, all without leaving the Keeper platform. Organizations can also eliminate static credentials from scan policies by storing privileged credentials centrally in Keeper, enabling Tenable to retrieve them automatically at scan time for credentialed scanning of SSH, Windows and database targets. Tenable provides comprehensive visibility into exposed identities, risky access paths and misconfigurations across cloud environments. However, the gap between discovering these findings and executing remediation remains a persistent challenge for cloud security teams that typically manage this workflow manually across multiple tools. Teams can spend days or weeks chasing approvals and context-switching while risk persists in production, leaving the vulnerability window open for exploitation. Keeper's integration with Tenable closes this gap by sending cloud findings directly into Keeper's remediation engine. Once a finding arrives in Keeper's platform, security teams can immediately execute targeted fixes - including credential rotation, Just-In-Time (JIT) access enforcement and standing privilege removal - without leaving their existing workflow. When remediation is complete, Keeper automatically notifies Tenable and moves the finding to resolved status with zero manual follow-up. The entire cycle from detection to closure happens without teams switching platforms or managing tickets. "Organizations can't remediate findings if they aren't properly equipped to take action immediately," said Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder of Keeper Security. "As AI-powered threats increase the onslaught of cyber attacks and decrease the window of time in which cyber defenders can take action, this integration enables cloud security teams to implement fixes in seconds instead of weeks." Closed-Loop Remediation Without Exposure The integration preserves Keeper's zero-knowledge architecture at every step. Keeper Encrypter operates as a self-hosted gateway deployed inside the customer's environment, receiving webhook traffic from Tenable and encrypting the data exchange using customer-managed private keys. All synchronization between platforms happens through encrypted channels that remain fully contained within the organization's perimeter. Cloud infrastructure never sees unencrypted findings or credentials, and security teams achieve automated remediation without exposure. The remediation workflow is straightforward and comprehensive. Teams send relevant Tenable findings directly to Keeper, then select the appropriate remediation action for each finding. For infrastructure compromises, teams can rotate exposed credentials across databases, machines, cloud environments and directories. For access control issues, they can enforce JIT access to eliminate standing privileges at scale. For cloud identities flagged by Tenable, teams can onboard PAM User records directly without requiring separate database, machine or directory resources. Each remediation action is logged with a full audit trail and compliance visibility. "By connecting Tenable's cloud detection directly to Keeper's zero-trust remediation engine, we've built a closed-loop workflow that operates entirely within the customer's perimeter," said Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security. "Security teams can immediately execute targeted fixes - from automated credential rotation to JIT access enforcement - without leaving their workflow or exposing unencrypted data." Centralized Credential Management for Credentialed Scans Tenable's integration with Keeper Commander solves another critical challenge: securing the credentials Tenable needs to log into systems during vulnerability scans. Today, organizations typically store passwords and SSH keys directly in Tenable scan policies, a practice that increases risk if either system is compromised. With this integration, organizations store those credentials securely in Keeper instead. When Tenable runs a scan and needs to log into a system, it requests the credential from Keeper, which delivers it securely, never allowing it to sit in Tenable's configuration. Credentialed scans allow the Tenable scanner to log in to target systems directly and perform deeper assessments than is possible without credentials, including checking installed software versions, configuration settings, patch levels and compliance status. This approach supports SSH, Windows (SMB) and database credentialed scans while keeping secrets out of scan policies. Credentials rotate in Keeper automatically, and Tenable picks up the new values at the next scan with zero manual policy updates. For Teams Managing Cloud Risk at Scale Both integrations are purpose-built for security operations teams managing cloud infrastructure at scale. Organizations can now detect cloud risks with Tenable, remediate them instantly through Keeper and run deeper vulnerability scans using centrally managed credentials without exposing secrets or switching between tools. The Keeper Commander and Tenable integrations are available now to Keeper customers with active KeeperPAM licenses. To learn more about connecting Tenable findings to Keeper's zero-trust remediation controls and securing credentials for authenticated scans, visit keepersecurity.com or schedule a demo with Keeper Security today. About Keeper Security Keeper Security is the leading zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity security solution, trusted by millions of people and thousands of organizations globally. KeeperPAM(R) is Keeper's privileged access management platform that unifies password and passkey management, secrets management, privileged session management and endpoint privilege management in a single cloud-native platform, protected with quantum-resistant encryption. KeeperAI(R) delivers real-time, AI-native threat detection across every privileged session. Keeper Security has launched native integrations with Tenable that let cloud security teams move from spotting risks to fixing them in one workflow. The London-based announcement was made on October 16, 2026. Teams can act on Tenable's findings inside Keeper to rotate compromised credentials, enforce Just-In-Time access, and remove standing privileges. Keeper then tells Tenable when a fix is done and marks the finding resolved. Organisations can also store privileged credentials in Keeper rather than in Tenable scan policies. Tenable retrieves them at scan time for SSH, Windows, and database scans. A self-hosted gateway keeps data exchange encrypted within the customer's environment. The integrations are available now to Keeper customers with active KeeperPAM licences.
