Hamburger Morgenpost becomes first DACH publisher to use Taboola's DeeperDive GenAI answer engine.

Hamburger Morgenpost becomes first DACH publisher to use Taboola's DeeperDive GenAI answer engine. Oct 20 2026 MOPO is the first publisher in the DACH region to integrate DeeperDive and, at the same time returns as a Taboola partner Taboola (NASDAQ: TBLA), a global leader in scalable performance solutions for advertisers, has partnered with the Hamburger Morgenpost (MOPO) as a publisher partner. MOPO is thus the first publisher in the DACH region to integrate Taboola's GenAI answer engine DeeperDive into its digital offerings from the very beginning. In addition to DeeperDive, the partnership includes the integration of the Taboola Feed,, and other monetization solutions. By integrating DeeperDive, MOPO brings the power of generative AI directly into its own editorial environment. DeeperDive uses only the publisher's trusted editorial content and transforms passive reading into an interactive user experience: Readers can delve deeper into topics, ask follow-up questions, and discover content in a whole new way without leaving the MOPO website. This promotes time on site, interaction, and reader engagement. At MOPO, DeeperDive is featured on both the homepage and article pages and is complemented by additional monetization opportunities. With approximately eleven million monthly active users, DeeperDive is one of the world's fastest-growing AI answer engines and is already in use by some of the world's largest publishers, including HuffPost UK, USA TODAY Co., India Today, and BuzzFeed Asia. With MOPO, the solution is now launching with its first publisher in the German-speaking world. Just recently, Taboola also opened up the monetization infrastructure behind DeeperDive to third-party providers such as AI assistants and chatbots, allowing them to monetize user queries directly. Greater reach, stronger engagement, new revenue streams MOPO expects this integration to yield several benefits: greater reach, stronger reader engagement, and additional revenue potential. By interacting with the GenAI response engine directly within MOPO's editorial content, users stay on the site longer and remain in an environment of trustworthy content. This is becoming increasingly important, especially in an era of growing AI usage. With approximately 20.7 million visits per month to MOPO.de, MOPO is one of northern Germany's most established and widely read media brands. Thanks to its exceptionally loyal audience, the high level of trust it enjoys among its readers, and its strong roots in the Hamburg region, it plays a prominent role in the northern German media landscape. A Partnership That Comes Together With MOPO, Taboola is gaining a publisher with whom the company has already worked successfully for years and which is now once again placing its trust in Taboola. The key factors behind this renewed partnership were, above all, the close, collaborative support, the well-coordinated team, and the mutual trust. "Ultimately, what matters to us is that we can rely on our partner, on the team, the support, and our strong shared vision. Taboola combines this trust with a spirit of innovation that drives the future-oriented development of our digital offerings and inspires our readers," says Arist von Harpe, Managing Director of the Hamburger Morgenpost. "With DeeperDive, we offer our readers an AI experience based on our own, trustworthy content." "Publishers value DeeperDive because it brings the AI revolution directly into their own environment. It enables readers to ask questions, engage in real dialogues, and interact with trusted content in a completely new way," says Adam Singolda, CEO and founder of Taboola. "The fact that the Hamburger Morgenpost is the first publisher in the DACH region to adopt DeeperDive, and to return to us exclusively as a partner, is a strong endorsement for us. It shows that a true partnership and the right technology make all the difference." About Taboola: Taboola empowers businesses to grow through performance advertising technology that goes beyond search and social media and delivers measurable results at scale. Taboola partners with thousands of companies that advertise directly on Realize, Taboola's powerful advertising platform, reaching over 600 million daily active users through some of the world's top publishers. Realize is used by advertisers such as Enpal, Peugeot, Blinkist, and AIDA. Publishers such as the BBC, Business Insider, and Yahoo, as well as, in the DACH region, Ströer Content Group, Bauer Media Group, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Funke Mediengruppe, kicker, and krone.at, along with OEMs like Samsung, Xiaomi, and others, use Taboola's technology to increase their audience reach and revenue. This enables Realize to offer unique data, specialized algorithms, and unmatched scalability.

Taboola investors face October 20 lead plaintiff deadline after 27.5% share price plunge

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Taboola.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: TBLA) on behalf of investors that bought its securities between May 6, 2026 and August 4, 2026. Law firm Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP said investors seeking lead plaintiff status must apply to the court by October 20, 2026. The complaint alleges Taboola misled investors about the value of its publisher relationships. On August 5, 2026, the company reported second quarter revenue of $476.8 million, short of its $492-$505 million guidance. Its chief executive officer cited headwinds from the decision to remove low-quality publishers. Taboola's share price fell $1.46, or 27.5%, to close at $3.84 that day.
