Wrike expands work delivery capabilities with agentic AI integration.

Wrike expands work delivery capabilities with agentic AI integration. October 7, 2026 Powered by the Work Intelligence(R) Graph, Wrike unites people and AI by combining Strategic Portfolio Management, deep MCP support, enterprise AI governance, and autonomous AI Workmates. SAN DIEGO-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Wrike, the trusted work delivery platform for people and AI, today announced at Wrike Collaborate 2026 a category-defining evolution in how work is planned, executed, and optimized across the enterprise. Wrike is uniting human expertise with autonomous AI capabilities built upon its underlying Work Intelligence Graph architecture. As organizations shift from using passive AI assistants toward autonomous execution, Wrike provides the structured operational backbone, the governance layer, and real-time data visibility required for AI agents to operate alongside human teams and accelerate strategy, delivery, and learning. "Most enterprise AI fails because it operates in a vacuum, generating content without understanding how work actually gets strategized, planned, and delivered," said Alexey Korotich, Chief Product Officer at Wrike. "As companies scale their AI investments, the core challenge is its contextual execution and governance. By anchoring AI agents, both on and off-platform, to our Work Intelligence Graph and via open Model Context Protocol, we give them the operational context of the entire business. That allows AI Workmates to take on heavy administrative work while keeping humans firmly in control." Available Today: Intelligent Orchestration from Strategy to Execution Connecting executive vision to day-to-day execution, Wrike delivers an enterprise-grade operational foundation that unifies AI governance and external agent integrations with deep portfolio management and advanced platform capabilities: * "Bring Your Own" Agents: Enables companies to integrate their custom, proprietary AI agents directly into Wrike as active team members complete with enterprise guardrails, role based permissions, full audit trails, and mandatory human validation checkpoints. * Wrike MCP Server with extended tools: Allows external AI assistants and third-party agents to safely and efficiently read, write, and visualize enterprise work across connected ecosystems. * Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM): Wrike SPM, powered by Shibumi(R), provides leaders with AI-driven planning, dynamic scenario modeling, and automated value realization connecting high-level strategy directly to daily execution data. * Work Intelligence Graph and Platform: Adds portfolio-level Gantt views with cross-project dependencies, cascading custom fields, workflow governance, and customizable whitelabel executive dashboards. Coming Soon: The "Project Manager Workmate" To remove the administrative friction cluttering modern workdays, Wrike is introducing Workmates. These are role-specific AI agents that can manage projects, provide immediate on task assistance and deliver work with humans in the loop. Leading this upcoming rollout is the Project Manager Workmate, which drives execution of projects and programs across four specialized operational areas: * Work Intake: Converts unstructured briefs and whiteboard brainstorms directly into structured project plans and Gantt timelines. * Resource Allocation: Generates balanced staffing proposals for whole projects, factoring in real-time workloads, skill sets, and regional schedules of employees. * Meeting Intelligence: Turns meeting transcripts into action items and status updates and matches them with the ongoing projects. * Risk Monitoring: Scans critical paths, baselines, and discussion threads flagging downstream project delays and serving root cause reports to project managers. Project Manager Workmate and Wrike Workmates will be rolling out in phases later this year. The Vision Ahead: Self-Healing Workflows Looking to the future, Wrike outlined its vision for self-healing workflows in the enterprise. Leveraging the Work Intelligence Graph, Wrike AI will automatically identify operational bottlenecks and with human oversight will implement improvements in the workflows to resolve them. Wrike showcased how by analyzing real-world outcomes, its visionary AI platform will proactively suggest capacity-baseline adjustments for portfolio managers, optimize intake forms for program leaders, and refine AI Workmate behaviors based on continuous human feedback. About Wrike Wrike is the trusted work delivery platform for people and AI. Built on two decades of enterprise work management and powered by the Wrike Work Intelligence(R) Graph, Wrike gives organizations the governed, context-rich foundation they need to put AI to work on their most consequential workflows without losing control of how work gets done. More than 20,000 organizations worldwide trust Wrike to deliver their most important work. Learn more at wrike.com. Wrike AI: Our freshest features and newest innovations.

Wrike AI: Its freshest features and newest innovations. Published on Sep 17, 2026 Director of Product for AI and Analytics at Wrike End-to-end work management for your entire organization Here at Wrike, AI is nothing new. Wrike has been pioneering the use of machine learning in work management ever since the company was first founded almost 20 years ago. That means Wrike don't just keep up with the latest in artificial intelligence - Wrike set the pace. It also means Wrike is constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible, delivering a steady stream of new features designed to make work flow faster, better, and more efficiently. Wrike is excited to showcase the latest additions to its industry-leading AI suite. Read on for a full summary, or check out its features page below. AI agents. Every team member has one task they hate doing. It could be sorting through the intake queue, compiling reports, or scanning projects for risk flags. Wrike get it, which is why Wrike has introduced AI agents. Agents can automatically complete time-zapping activities, instantly jumping on any task and completing it in seconds, rather than minutes or even hours. Custom agents. You can build your own agent from scratch using natural language, the type you'd use with a real colleague. You have two options here: * Its classic manual builder, which offers a bit more control in your setup * Its recently launched conversational agent builder, which gets you up and running quicker Want to see some real-life examples before you dive in? Check out its AI agents library for more inspiration, take a look at Episode 5 of its AI Summer School series, or view its suggested workflow use cases. Prebuilt agents. If you want to get started a little faster, you can use one of its preconfigured versions, such as: * Intake: This agent checks new requests and prompts owners for missing information * Triage: This agent instantly routes incoming requests to the appropriate person or team * Risk: This agent scans project data and automatically alerts project managers to risks In August, Wrike also launched prebuilt agents for revision tracking, project coordination, and missed deadlines - see here for more info. MCP Server. Last year, Wrike introduced you to Wrike MCP Server, which connects third-party AI agents directly to Wrike data. Now, Wrike has just launched MCP v2, a speedier version that offers unified search, bulk actions, more tools, and lighter navigation. It's powered by Model Context Protocol, an open standard for data sharing between LLMs and enterprise systems of record. MCP eliminates the need for excessive exports and tabs, linking your Wrike project and task insights to the AI assistants you already use. Work intake. The latest addition to its MCP Server functionality is work intake. You no longer need to create items manually or navigate request forms - simply use the AI assistant to add your raw input directly, and it will take care of the project setup in Wrike. Marketplace availability. Wrike is now available as a connector in Anthropic's Claude and Google Gemini, as well as an app in OpenAI's ChatGPT. This means Wrike users can bring live work context from the platform into these leading AI assistants, and turn the AI outputs into Wrike tasks without building custom integrations. This is made possible by MCP Server, which uses OAuth-based access to let the likes of Claude securely read from and write to Wrike - all without compromising enterprise permissions, audit trails, and governance controls. Admin and governance. Wrike know that the rapid rise of AI features has given some people concern over security, and for good reason. That's why Wrike dedicated some time to improving its admin and governance features over the summer, and recently announced more granular AI permissions in user types as well as expanded AI agent visibility for administrators. This is in line with its commitment to the three Cs: * Context: Give AI the correct business context to deliver outputs. * Control: Ensure AI operates within clear governance controls and app permissions, with regular oversight. * Collaboration: Keep humans in the loop, especially for larger decisions. ICMYI: AI updates from the past year. Wrike has caught you up on all the latest and greatest AI advancements here at Wrike, but here's an overview of some early features you might have missed in 2025. AI-powered highlights. Its AI-powered highlights widget helps sort insights from information, decisions from data, facts from fluff. Powered by an enhanced language model, this widget instantly surfaces the most important insights, trends, and risks from your dashboards - eliminating the need for time-consuming analysis. Key abilities include: * Summarizing dashboard content: Stop poring over charts and tables - this widget can deliver a concise, coherent summary of your dashboard's key data. * Surfacing key observations: No need for manual analysis, as Wrike's widget can highlight trends, risks, and recommended actions. * Automating content: All of this valuable content is generated automatically, saving you time and effort when it comes to reporting. Over the last year, Wrike has been continuously improving this widget so that it delivers even better value, with improved accuracy, deeper insights, and a more personalized experience. It now features: * Greater support for larger datasets (ideal for large teams or enterprises) * Smarter handling of details like due dates and parameters * An all-new editor that empowers users to customize the widget to suit their needs AI form builder. Wrike's AI form builder makes it easy for anyone to create comprehensive, ready-to-use forms simply by describing their needs in plain English. The best part of this development is that it democratizes technology, empowering individual teams to create the forms they need to work faster, better, and more efficiently. Whether you're gathering project requirements, collecting feedback, or launching a new campaign, its AI can turn a simple prompt into a flexible form in seconds. AI widget generator. Creating the perfect dashboard widget used to mean navigating complex menus and configurations, amounting to hours of work. With Wrike's AI widget generator, that process has been reduced to seconds. You just tell Wrike what you need (in natural language, like you use in everyday conversations) and let its AI do the heavy lifting. Its generator will bring data to life the way you want it to, making valuable visualization truly effortless.

Full Agenda revealed for global Wrike Collaborate 2026 conference. Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation, Anaplan, Sur La Table, Moment Factory, and SharkNinja Join the Roster to Share Customer Transformation Stories Across Keynotes and Breakout Sessions SAN DIEGO, Calif., September 3, 2026 - Wrike, the trusted work delivery platform for people and AI, announced the full agenda for Wrike Collaborate 2026, its premier global virtual user conference, to show how transformation plays out day to day, in customers' own words. With executive teams facing increased pressure to transform how the business operates, and AI now a critical initiative in every function, the event brings together enterprise leaders and experts to confront a common enemy: the Fog of Business, where strategy stalls at the top, execution stays siloed below, and AI gets bolted on in disconnected pockets. According to recent enterprise research, while over 80% of executive teams prioritize digital transformation, a staggering majority struggle with execution due to scattered tools, context loss, and fragmented workflows. Wrike Collaborate addresses this disconnect head-on, reframing transformation not as a once-a-year event but as a continuous, repeatable loop grounded in concrete strategies for delivering change at scale. What to expect. Built around the theme "Transformation Delivered," the virtual gathering brings together real-world case studies, executive panels, and deep-dive technical sessions designed to equip workflow builders, transformation leaders, and outcome drivers with practical execution frameworks. Key sessions include: * Turning Complex Operations into Velocity: Enterprise leaders from Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation will pull back the curtain on how they aligned cross-functional teams, streamlined complex operational workflows, and scaled output to drive bottom-line enterprise performance. * Agility at Scale in B2B Tech: Executives from Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation, Anaplan, Sur La Table, Moment Factory, and SharkNinja will share actionable frameworks for bridging operational gaps, demonstrating how modern organizations can dynamically pivot strategy and maintain precision alignment across enterprise go-to-market teams. * The "Transformation Delivered" Keynote: Wrike leadership will unveil the platform's newest intelligent automation capabilities and workflow architectures designed to eliminate friction, close context gaps, and turn chaotic task management into structured organizational intelligence. * Breakout Sessions: Attendees can participate in specialized tracks spanning AI-driven productivity, strategic portfolio management, and modern work governance, equipping teams to scale without adding administrative burnout. Why "Transformation Delivered" Matters now. "Transformation is the new normal," said Thomas Scott, CEO of Wrike. "Organizations are under pressure to transform how the business operates, and execution alone won't cut through the Fog of Business. Wrike Collaborate is about giving organizations the context, control, and collaboration to transform continuously, at scale. We are looking forward to spotlighting stories from Yamaha and Anaplan that will help other organizations streamline their workflows and deliver on broader business goals." Event details & Registration. Wrike Collaborate is a fully virtual, globally accessible event taking place across multiple time zones. Attendance is complimentary for enterprise leaders, program managers, operations professionals, and team members looking to level-up their execution capabilities. * October 7: North America * October 8: EMEA and APAC Registration & Full Agenda: To explore the complete lineup of speakers and reserve your virtual pass, visit https://www.wrike.com/collaborate/conference/.

Wrike launches conversational platform to build AI agents.

Wrike launches conversational platform to build AI agents. SAAS: Adoption of Software Has Tripled in Past Year July 22, 2026 SAN DIEGO - Enterprise adoption of software company Wrike's artificial intelligence features has tripled since June 2025. In that time, the company launched the ability to design and deploy agentic systems within Wrike's software to help workers more efficiently manage tasks like reviewing and organizing incoming requests, checking for potential compliance issues and overseeing project operations. Alongside those AI agents, the company also launched an agent building platform in which users could create new agents from freeform prompts entered into a standard chat interface. "What we found is there are definitely customers that are builders in nature that like that approach, because it enables them to go in and describe exactly what they want, customize it at the prompt level and then be able to create more of a deterministic outcome by using those clear triggers and status changes," Wrike CEO Thomas Scott said. However, not every user has those technical skills and the ability to write detailed prompts, Scott said. The company also found, in a November survey of 1,000 employees in 10 industries across five countries, that less than half of employers provide any kind of company-wide training on AI systems. As a result, Wrike began developing a more conversational AI agent creation platform, which launched earlier this month. "You go in and you describe a problem that you're trying to solve, and that triggers a series of back-and-forth discussions between the user and the builder to help narrow down what it is that you're actually trying to solve from a workflow perspective," Scott said. "It gives you a much more coherent experience if your technical bar is a little bit lower, and you're not looking to become an expert at building a specific agent, you're really looking at being an expert at solving the problem that's in front of you," Scott added. Wrike previously launched a task automation platform a few years ago that was intended to achieve some of the same goals as its AI agent builder system, but was relatively rudimentary in its reliance on simple "if, then" statements and was generally inflexible if those automation rules changed. Scott argued its broader agentic systems and the conversational AI agent builder platform effectively solve those problems for Wrike's customer base, which is mainly comprised of marketing and professional services companies, portfolio management offices and corporate product launch departments, but many of its users, and its power users in particular, are not technical or corporate IT workers. "They're familiar with the application, but they're typically not a developer that (we're) working with," he said. "So this makes it easier for them to describe a process or a workflow where they've got a great deal of familiarity and be able to do that in natural language and set this up very quickly." Fast growing. According to Wrike, users have executed more than 5.5 million AI agent actions since the company launched its agentic systems in January while reducing process time by 93%. Roughly 60% of the company's customer base is in North America, with 30% in the middle east and Africa and the remaining 10% in the Asia-Pacific region. While Wrike's customers include companies like Lyft, T-Mobile and Nvidia, Scott said the company works with clients of any business size. More than 2 million workers in 140 countries use Wrike in some capacity, which has enabled the company to grow steadily at around 10% annually and remain profitable. Scott argued that the conversation AI agent builder is one method of helping companies narrow their focus on how to leverage AI tools most efficiently while also maintaining the trust of the workers who are actually using the tools. "If you come in (saying), 'we're going to change everything,' then you've got way too much resistance and you don't have a way to show value to the people who are involved in the process right now," he said. Maintaining that user trust relies on ensuring that AI technology has a demonstrated benefit for both the processes for which its used and the users themselves, as opposed to attempting to force users to integrate AI in tasks that may not benefit from it. "When we have these conversations with our own customers today," Scott said, "the thing that comes through overwhelmingly is (for) the technology that we're building, trust matters as much as the intelligence question."
