About the job

Requirements
  • At least 7 years across Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Product Partnerships, Product Management, or a related discipline, with a clear track record of owning deals end to end from sourcing through launch.
  • Experience structuring and closing partnerships that required substantive product and engineering work, rather than channel referrals or reseller motions.
  • Fluency with API-based integrations, including scoping technical work directly with engineers and product managers and translating between partner-side and product-side stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous emerging categories where there is no obvious incumbent and make a partner-selection decision.
  • Commercial skills in pricing, term structure, risk allocation, and driving contracts to signature without legal hand-holding.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of strategic product partnerships: source and qualify partners, negotiate commercial and legal terms, structure integrations with Product and Engineering, launch, and scale partnerships.
  • Translate partner capabilities into product opportunities by working with Product and Engineering to scope potential work and with Legal on risk, liability, and regulatory framing.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms, including pricing, revenue share, master service agreements, best-and-final-offer cycles, multi-year structures, and data and intellectual property rights.
  • Coordinate launches across Marketing, Sales, and Solutions to drive customer adoption.
  • Build durable relationships with senior partner-organization counterparts and run formal business reviews and executive syncs after partnerships launch.
  • Define and report partnership key performance indicators aligned with product and revenue priorities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in one of the product categories described in the posting; Product Management is strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience negotiating data, application programming interface, or model-access governance terms, including model context protocol, model providers, or platform data exposure.
  • Experience shipping a product partnership that opened a new vertical, geography, or category for a company.
  • Prior exposure to enterprise resource planning or accounting ecosystems.
  • Experience as a design-partner manager for early-stage products.

About the company

Ramp runs a financial operations platform for businesses and their finance teams, linking corporate cards with expense records and invoice payments. Finance teams use its software to collect receipts, approve spending and send transaction data to their accounting systems, while employees submit expenses through connected apps. Its Router service also directs AI requests across outside model providers, selecting models based on cost and performance. Customers use a free core plan or pay for broader software automation features, with partner banks issuing cards and providing deposit services. Ramp was founded in 2019 and has its headquarters in New York City.
