Datadog named a Leader in AIOps Platforms research. Received the highest score possible in eleven criteria, including Innovation, Roadmap and ModelOps and AI Governance (sovereignty). October 29, 2026 12:00 ET | Source: Datadog, Inc. NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Datadog, Inc. (NASDAQ: DDOG), the leading AI-powered observability and security platform, today announced it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave(TM): AIOps Platforms, Q4 2026. Datadog is leading the shift from observability to autonomous operations, with one integrated platform where Bits AI detects, investigates and remediates, while engineers stay in control. Until recently, it was an engineer's job to triage alerts, investigate issues and analyze root causes to find answers. Forrester's evaluation noted that Datadog's roadmap is "ambitious, transparent, and committed to the continued delivery of advanced AI features." Datadog's Bits AI, for example, handles the work of finding and fixing issues, learning environments over time and applying past corrections to similar issues so investigations get more accurate with every incident. Customers trust Datadog as their AIOps platform, with Forrester reporting that customers "tend to expand use of the platform because they trust it, it's easily accessible by engineers, and it delivers measurable value..." "We believe Datadog's recognition as a Leader in The Forrester Wave(TM): AIOps Platforms, 2026 reflects our leadership in the shift toward autonomous operations," said Yanbing Li, Chief Product Officer at Datadog. "Our unified platform provides full-stack coverage across observability, security and AI workloads, enabling agentic operations for organizations that want to innovate rapidly. Bits AI recently surpassed 10,000 paying customers - a significant milestone that demonstrates how integral it is becoming to our customers' operations. The launch of Scout 1.0, a new SRE model that powers Bits AI with frontier-level performance at a fraction of the cost, further underscores our commitment to building differentiated AIOps products." Datadog is moving teams from seeing problems to resolving them autonomously. Its unified observability and AIOps capabilities - powered by Bits AI that investigates and acts within defined guardrails - provide users with a single platform spanning infrastructure, security and AI workloads. Datadog's AIOps capabilities include: * Agentic operations with Bits AI surfacing critical signals, identifying root causes and suggesting remediation steps, with full visibility into how Bits AI reasons through every issue and comprehensive control over what it can act on. * Unified observability combines native OpenTelemetry ingestion, pipeline-level control over what gets collected and kept, and analytics on historical data without rehydration, resolved into a live map of services, dependencies and changes. * Native AI observability brings application monitoring, agent observability and digital experience into one continuous flow, so teams can investigate the same request from service activity and agent reasoning to customer impact. * Impact correlation ties frontend sessions to backend traces on a synchronized timeline and identifies the users affected during an incident, so teams prioritize by impact rather than alert volume. Qualys launches TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with AI remediation.

Qualys launches TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with AI remediation. Wed, 28th Oct 2026 (Today) Qualys has launched TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with TruConfidence, now generally available as an upgrade for existing TruRisk Eliminate customers. The release adds a remediation intelligence and orchestration engine to Qualys' security platform as it pushes what it calls Autonomous RemOps, a model aimed at automating how organisations fix cyber exposures. The new version is designed to help security and IT teams decide whether to patch, apply a compensating control, uninstall software, isolate affected assets or use a custom fix. It extends beyond managed endpoints to cover perimeter devices, cloud environments and applications, including assets that cannot run an agent. Those non-agent assets can be handled through scanners and existing security and IT integrations, with the aim of reducing manual intervention in remediation workflows. Automation focus The launch comes as security teams face growing pressure to close vulnerabilities more quickly as AI tools accelerate both discovery and exploitation. Qualys is positioning the update around that shift, arguing that manual ticketing and handoffs between security and IT operations are too slow for current attack timelines. At the centre of the system is Agent Sara, an AI entity that builds wave-based deployment plans. The agent analyses asset criticality, operational dependencies and traffic patterns so updates can be rolled out in stages rather than across an entire environment at once. That staged approach is intended to detect problems in smaller groups of systems before wider deployment. The system also draws on data from half a billion patch deployments, with less than 0.1% rollback, and Qualys said 40% of those deployments were carried out autonomously. Another element of the update is what Qualys calls Patch Reliability Score, which assesses the likely success of a patch before deployment. The product also includes patch failure analysis, which can explain why a remediation attempt failed and suggest corrective action such as a localised rollback. Broader coverage A key part of the release is the use of compensating controls where patching is not immediately practical. The system first assesses which risks are already covered by existing security controls, then looks for remaining gaps and identifies third-party mitigations that can be applied through tools already in use on endpoints and perimeter systems. That reflects a broader trend in vulnerability management, as organisations increasingly want alternatives to immediate patching for systems that are operationally sensitive or cannot be taken offline. In practice, this can include temporary measures while a permanent fix is tested or scheduled. Qualys also said the system monitors the health of systems after remediation through integrations with observability providers including Dynatrace, Datadog and New Relic. That monitoring is intended to detect anomalies such as CPU spikes, memory leaks and service-impacting conditions after a patch or mitigation has been applied. Jon Nelson, Principal Advisory Director in the Security & Privacy Practise at Info-Tech Research Group, said the gap between security teams that find vulnerabilities and IT teams that patch them has become harder to manage. "For years, security teams found vulnerabilities and IT operations teams patched them. That handoff was built for exploitation timelines measured in weeks. With frontier AI, those timelines are now measured in hours, and neither team can close that gap alone," Nelson said. "Qualys TruRisk Eliminate gives security a viable path to drive remediation at machine speed, with patch reliability scoring, progressive rollouts and patchless mitigation that reduce the risk of disrupting operations," he added. Market pressure Qualys is entering a market where suppliers are trying to tie vulnerability prioritisation more closely to remediation and operational oversight. Rather than simply listing exposures, vendors are under pressure to show organisations can act on those findings with less human coordination and lower risk of disruption. For Qualys, that means linking asset visibility, remediation decisions and post-deployment validation in a single workflow. The company said the new release sits within its wider Risk Operations Centre framework, which combines visibility, prioritisation and remediation across hybrid environments. Sumedh Thakar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Qualys, said customer hesitation about automation is often rooted in concerns about outages rather than opposition to automated action itself. "Autonomous exploitation requires equally automated remediation, but organisations' hesitation isn't about automation, it's a lack of confidence that it won't cause an outage," Thakar said. "That's why we're excited to introduce TruRisk Eliminate with TruConfidence, moving beyond patching to turn remediation intelligence into action with the Risk Operations Centre. By unifying telemetry, asset visibility and validation inside the ROC framework, we give organisations the structural confidence to reduce cyber risk quickly while permanently removing outage concerns," he added.

Datadog Inc. (DDOG) stock has surged 106% this year, but Wall Street analysts see further upside ahead of the company's third-quarter results. UBS and Oppenheimer raised their price targets, citing AI observability demand and potential OpenAI spending. However, Datadog's premium valuation remains a key risk for investors. Datadog stock edged 0.8% lower in Tuesday's premarket trading after a nearly 4% gain on Monday. UBS raises Datadog's price target. Datadog received higher price targets from UBS and Oppenheimer as both firms expressed confidence in the software company's growth prospects. UBS analyst Karl Keirstead raised his price target on Datadog to $320 from $280 and maintained a 'Buy' rating, implying 14% upside from the stock's last closing price. The analyst sees AI-related monitoring services contributing more to the company's growth in 2027. Keirstead also highlighted possible higher spending from OpenAI during the second half of this year, which could provide an additional boost to Datadog's business. Last week, reports suggested Datadog is looking to expand its cybersecurity business by acquiring cloud security startup Upwind. Upwind makes software that monitors cloud applications, including AI agents. However, UBS said Datadog's stock is expensive compared with its expected growth. The company trades at about 17 times its expected 2027 revenue and 57 times its free cash flow. This means the stock could face pressure if growth misses expectations. Top infrastructure software stocks ahead of earnings: BofA Securities.

Top infrastructure software stocks ahead of earnings: BofA Securities. Investing.com - BofA Securities has identified infrastructure software as an attractive sector heading into third-quarter earnings, highlighting two companies as top picks in the space. The firm expects the third-quarter earnings cycle will demonstrate that infrastructure software remains more durable and shows greater artificial intelligence benefits compared to other software subsectors. After conducting industry checks and analyzing data signals, BofA Securities believes demand for infrastructure software is increasing, with AI becoming a higher contributor to growth and platform usage. Companies that can prove AI is a positive tailwind to growth are likely to see their stocks rerate, despite premium valuations. The firm raised price objectives for multiple companies in the sector, including AMPL, DDOG, DT, ESTC, FROG, GTLB, PD, and TEAM, while lowering its target for PATH. Datadog (DDOG) BofA Securities highlights Datadog as the best share gainer in a faster-growing total addressable market. The firm believes the observability market is growing faster than previously thought, with enterprise AI accelerating and consumer agents ramping quickly as primary drivers. The key metric to watch is total revenue growth, where BofA Securities and the Street model 28.7% and 29.1%, respectively. The firm notes that one underappreciated aspect of Datadog's business is its security offerings, which crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue in the second quarter of 2025. Security growth accelerated to the mid-50s percentage range from the mid-40s percentage range year-over-year. BofA Securities maintains a Buy rating and raised its price objective to $335 on improved demand expectations. Atlassian (TEAM) Despite the stock rising more than 280% from its April trough of around $57, BofA Securities believes there is still room for the stock to rerate if results continue to support its view that Atlassian is a long-term AI beneficiary. The key metric to watch is Cloud revenue growth, where the firm and the Street model 28.5% and 28.9%, respectively. BofA Securities believes the Street may be underappreciating Atlassian's two decades of work context, which is important for driving more efficient and lower-cost AI. The firm reiterates its Buy rating and raised its price objective to $252 from $210. Original Article
