Vertice launches Procure-to-Pay, drawing on $75B of spend data across 32,000 vendors

London-based Vertice, an AI procurement platform, launched Procure-to-Pay (P2P) on October 22, 2026. The tool extends the company's Intake-to-Procure offering, putting requests, approvals, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and payments in one record. P2P covers invoice capture and processing, purchase order matching, spend controls, and payments. Vertice's AI agents classify documents, extract data, and check invoices against contract terms and budgets. The platform draws on a procurement dataset covering $75 billion of spend across 32,000 vendors. This helps finance teams check deals, budget more accurately, and capture early payment discounts. Early customers have secured faster payments, better terms, or sharper cost forecasts for more than 80% of suppliers run through P2P. It is available now.

Vertice launches procure-to-pay for finance and procurement.

Vertice launches procure-to-pay for finance and procurement. October 21, 2026 Vertice's new P2P capability brings intake, procurement and payment into one record, helping finance teams plug post-signature value leakage The AI procurement platform built for the modern enterprise, Vertice, has launched its Procure-to-Pay (P2P) capability. The advancement will see the company significantly extend its capabilities beyond Intake-to-Procure (I2P). It creates a single, consistent record from request to payment, helping procurement and finance work seamlessly from one source of truth. One record from request to payment. Within Vertice's P2P function, the platform will oversee the entire procure-to-pay process, from invoice capture and processing to PO matching, spend controls and payments. By consolidating purchase orders, invoices and payments alongside initial requests, approvals, negotiation histories and contracts within a single record, AP and finance teams cut down on reconciliation time. They also gain the insights and tools required to drive cost savings and refine predictive budgeting. Eldar Tuvey, CEO and Founder of Vertice, says: "More than 10% of contract value leaks away after signature through missed early payment discounts and suboptimal payment terms. "Finance teams can't protect value if all they can see is a PO and an invoice. We are giving Finance the visibility, context and automation they need to easily plug these leaks. They can generate real strategic value for their businesses by accelerating innovation, removing discrepancies, optimizing spend and budgeting much more accurately." "More than 10% of contract value leaks away after signature through missed early payment discounts and suboptimal payment terms " Eldar Tuvey,CEO and Founder, Vertice Market intelligence drawn from US$75bn of spend. Vertice provides a different way for procurement to operate, with wider context behind each contract and invoice. Its proprietary procurement intelligence dataset, which the company describes as the largest of its kind in the world, provides current market context from US$75bn of spend across 32,000 vendors. This gives finance teams the ability to ensure the best deal is negotiated and to budget more accurately, based on details such as vendor pricing changes. It also helps them optimise working capital through improved payment terms and identify early payment discount opportunities. Patrick Reymann, Research Director - Procurement Applications and Agents at IDC, adds: "Vertice has established a clear reputation for innovation, user experience and commercial outcomes in Intake-to-Procure, even being named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape. This position was based in no small part on the context they are able to deliver with their proprietary procurement intelligence dataset. Bringing this to the Procure-to-Pay process is the next logical step, and has the potential to be differentiating." Through Vertice's P2P platform, organisations have achieved quicker payment cycles, superior commercial terms or more precise cost forecasts across more than 80% of their suppliers. "Finance teams can't protect value if all they can see is a PO and an invoice. " Eldar Tuvey, CEO and Founder, Vertice AI agents across the complete workflow. Vertice has scaled its proven AI technology across the complete P2P workflow. This features automated invoice intelligence agents that extract essential data, categorise documents, reconcile invoices against budgets, POs and contract terms, and enhance records with full audit trails and GL coding. Early P2P customers' finance and AP teams are already using Vertice P2P to: * Resolve complex invoice discrepancies * See where vendors are showing greater flexibility in pricing and terms, and renegotiate contracts early * Recover working capital through better use of payment terms * Capture early-payment discounts * Dynamically adjust budgets as vendor pricing shifts Building on the momentum of Ana. The launch continues some impressive momentum for Vertice, which earlier this year launched Ana, an AI negotiation agent built for software purchases. According to Vertice, around 14% of software contracts are automatically renewed without oversight, particularly within tail spend. Furthermore, 75% of contracts are renewed without any review, allowing vendor price increases, modified terms and compliance changes to proceed unchecked. To address these challenges, Ana provides procurement teams with data-driven negotiation capabilities across their full technology stack. This includes detailed reporting, predictive outcomes, auditability and reasoned insights. Ana, or Autonomous Negotiation Agent, will work to take away the capacity constraints preventing cost and risk oversight from being applied throughout the entire stack. Through its ability to run an unlimited number of custom negotiations simultaneously on behalf of its customer, the tool creates scenario-specific strategies, then picks the most powerful levers and sequences for the situation. It also models the most likely outcomes at every step of the journey, drafts every interaction and tracks the vendor exchange. Speaking at the time, Eldar said: "Procurement Mag built Ana to bring savings, consistency, and control to every software purchase, at a scale no procurement team could ever deliver manually. But what matters just as much is how it gets there. "Great procurement isn't as simple as squeezing the other side. It's about ensuring a win-win: fair terms for the customer, stronger relationships with vendors, and better outcomes for everyone." "Bringing this to the Procure-to-Pay process is the next logical step, and has the potential to be differentiating. " Patrick Reymann,Research Director - Procurement Applications and Agents, IDC Vertice customer success. Staffbase: Staffbase was running manual processes for benchmarking, negotiation and spend monitoring - particularly troublesome as their AI spend was escalating. Vertice implemented AI workflows to intelligently capture and route all new purchases and renewals with the right information based on internal policies and criteria. Vertice's AI Cost Optimization helps Staffbase control their AI spending in a single view, with usage forecasts and optimization recommendations. And expert negotiators helped Staffbase reduce their spend across AI and SaaS. Over 650 hours have been saved from procurement operations for Staffbase, freeing up the team to focus on more strategic initiatives. With Vertice focusing on the day-to-day, single contract savings are exceeding 50%, and Staffbase were paid back their annual fees in less than 5 months. Quartex: Quartex had a sprawling, decentralised stack of 100+ SaaS contracts with duplication, unclear ownership, and no centralised ownership - leading to poor negotiation outcomes and renewal risk. Vertice implemented customised intake-to-procure workflows to improve consistency, compliance and speed, and embedded Vertice AI to dynamically insert deep pricing analysis, market intelligence and automation throughout their processes. Teaming this with full stack visibility via its Intelligent Procurement Platform, and Vertice's expert negotiators, Quartex realised over US$1m in first-year savings, an 8.9x ROI, and exceeded its savings guarantee by 510%. Vertice launches Ana, AI agent that negotiated $500M in software purchases with 18% savings

Vertice has launched Ana, an AI negotiation agent for software purchases. The autonomous agent has completed over 4,000 negotiations, delivering average savings of 18% and reducing purchasing cycles by 15 days. Ana operates using Vertice's procurement intelligence dataset, which spans 250,000+ negotiated contracts, $75 billion+ in global indirect spend, and 32,000+ SaaS vendors. The agent can run unlimited simultaneous negotiations, either autonomously or as a copilot requiring team review. Vertice data shows 1 in 7 software contracts auto-renews without oversight. For tail spend, 3 in 4 contracts renew unreviewed. Ana addresses this capacity constraint by providing market evidence, outcome modelling, and pattern recognition from hundreds of thousands of expert negotiations. The launch comes as Gartner predicts 90% of B2B buying will be intermediated by AI agents by 2028.

Vertice and RSM collaborate to help middle market enterprises control AI consumption and SaaS costs.

Vertice and RSM collaborate to help middle market enterprises control AI consumption and SaaS costs. Aug 18, 2026, 09:00 ET Strategic alliance helps clients combat runaway consumption-based pricing by pairing RSM's technology advisory services with the world's largest procurement intelligence dataset and negotiation services NEW YORK, Aug. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Vertice, the AI procurement platform built for the modern enterprise, today announced a strategic alliance with RSM US LLP ("RSM") - the leading provider of consulting, tax and assurance services for the middle market - to help clients identify avoidable spend, support negotiations and accelerate procurement cycles. The alliance has been established to better serve the middle market, pairing Vertice's AI procurement platform, expert negotiation support and procurement intelligence dataset - the largest of its kind - with RSM's leading technology advisory, cloud transformation and cost optimization experience. Vertice's dataset, which spans more than 250,000 negotiated contracts and more than $75 billion in global indirect spend, provides benchmark-driven insight into pricing, renewal risks and savings opportunities that many middle market organizations would not otherwise have at scale. RSM will help clients leverage this data to drive connection and impact across technology advisory, cloud transformation, finance and risk to ensure they are optimizing SaaS costs, strengthening supplier relationships and enhancing operational efficiency. Through the alliance, Vertice's capabilities become a component of RSM's integrated cloud consulting services. For clients of RSM, this means software and cloud cost optimization can move from a reactive exercise upon renewal, to a more pre-emptive and data-led operating model. Vertice and RSM allow organizations to mitigate the budget ramifications of the rapidly evolving software landscape, with particular focus on the shift from fixed, seat-based software contracts to the consumption- and usage-based pricing models that are increasingly prevalent across software vendors. The impact of such pricing has become notorious following numerous enterprises hitting the headlines after exhausting annual AI budgets early, capping AI SaaS usage in response to excessive unpredicted costs, or even cancelling licences altogether. According to Vertice's data report 'Investigating consumption-based pricing models', these new pricing mechanisms can create runaway spend, exceeding budget plans by an average of 38%. The threat is not limited to major AI-native tools however, as longstanding SaaS vendors are also changing their pricing models as they introduce more AI capabilities, making corporate software budgets doubly challenging to predict. Diego Rosenfeld, RSM Technology Advisory Practice Leader and Principal, said: "RSM has spent a lot of time over the past year with CIOs and their leadership teams helping them navigate the major opex volatility introduced by software vendors using new pricing models. While companies of all sizes are deeply impacted by this, the worst-affected appear to be middle market organizations who suffer from the compounding challenge of spending significantly on software, yet lacking the scale, benchmarking data and buying skills to control it. This collaboration brings together RSM's experience helping middle market organizations optimize technology investments and navigate increasingly complex software vendor environments and Vertice's AI procurement platform to help clients bring order back to the AI and SaaS pricing chaos." In a recent article, Rosenfeld drew on Vertice benchmark data to detail how AI-driven consumption pricing is reshaping IT budgets for middle market organizations. The research points to: * 25% reduction in vendors using seat-based pricing models in two years, as consumption-based and hybrid models take over. * 38% average monthly variance from planned budgets for consumption-based software contracts, versus 4% for traditional seat-based contracts * Less than 6 months before consumption-based contracts diverge 15%+ from budgets * 23% increase in contract cost when vendors switch from seat-based to consumption-based pricing. Roy Tuvey, Founder and CEO, Vertice, said: "RSM has reinforced what we see across our own customer base every day: consumption-based pricing is fundamentally changing the game for mid-market IT leaders and their CFOs because vendor commercial models are evolving faster than buying processes can keep up. RSM knows these organizations inside and out; pairing the Vertice platform, data, and expert negotiators with RSM's leading advisory capabilities means more companies will get ahead of this pricing shift, rather than reacting to it when a shock vendor invoice arrives at the end of the quarter." About Vertice Vertice is the intelligent procurement platform built for the modern enterprise. By uniting agentic workflows, AI-powered insights, and expert buying talent, we enable finance and procurement teams in 100+ countries to operate with greater precision, speed, and impact. Customers including ARM, Brex, Duolingo, Twilio and Santander use Vertice's platform to review, analyze and negotiate purchases with greater confidence. Vertice processes over $75 billion in spend, with a proven track record of delivering 20%+ savings and accelerating procurement cycles by 2x.
