Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate end-of-day financial reports and balance all revenue transactions, ensuring accounts are settled and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Assist late-night guests with check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and requests while delivering personalized service.
  • Handle overnight front-desk responsibilities, including answering calls, processing payments, and providing information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Follow nighttime safety protocols and respond to emergencies or guest concerns.
  • Run nightly audit reports, verify room rates and revenue data, and prepare financial summaries for management review.
  • Oversee reservation systems and maintain accurate room assignments, rates, and guest details for the following day's operations.
  • Handle late-night guest billing, review folios for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Assist with morning-shift preparation, including coordinating with housekeeping for early arrivals.
  • Handle financial data and guest information according to company confidentiality policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare detailed handover notes for the morning shift, including issues, guest requests, and follow-up items.
  • Provide cross-departmental support as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO. CoralTree Hospitality has appointed Jeff Knowlton as chief technology officer to lead the company's enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation and systems optimization across its portfolio. Knowlton brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and technology leadership, digital transformation, guest-facing platform enhancement and operational system modernization to his new role. He will oversee CoralTree's technology roadmap, focusing on improving guest experience, operational efficiency and scalable infrastructure to support the company's expansion. "Jeff's deep expertise at the intersection of hospitality and technology makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team," said Tom Luersen, president of CoralTree Hospitality. "As we continue to grow, his vision and leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, seamless, and data-driven guest experiences across our portfolio." Before joining CoralTree Hospitality, Knowlton most recently served as chief information officer at Peregrine Hospitality. Prior to that, he served in the same role at Sonesta Hotels International.
