Requirements
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • The candidate must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in the State of Georgia.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Provide care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
  • An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or another clinical specialty certification, is preferred.
  • Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
