About the job
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Three to four years of hands-on experience in .NET application development is required.
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core/.NET is required.
- Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core is required.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server and database development is required.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs is required.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end technologies is required.
- Knowledge of Git or another version control system is required.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Willingness to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur for a six-month contract is required.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies.
- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services.

- Work with databases to design queries, perform data manipulation, and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand technical requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and application maintenance.
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Support system enhancements and bug fixes within project timelines.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
