Requirements
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, co-workers, and management, including understanding and responding to them.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and cooperativeness, and with minimal supervision.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or a minimum of six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in basic English.
- Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Must be able to perform physical movements including reaching, extending arms overhead, bending, and stooping; grasp, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads; and lift, carry, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to push or pull a vacuum and wheeled cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleanup tasks and maintain guest rooms and resort public areas.
- Collect and distribute linens and fulfill Room Attendant and guest requests for additional supplies, including cleaning supplies, equipment, terry, and linens.
- Stock housekeeping carts, linen carts, and chemicals.
- Use resort-provided systems and equipment, including Alice, radios, and other communication devices.
- Secure assigned keys and equipment, and sign devices in and out.
- Report and log maintenance issues and requests in Alice.
- Follow lost-and-found protocol for items throughout the property.
- Bring down dirty linen, stock clean linen in the proper locations, and track daily inventory.
- Keep the loading dock clean.
- Maintain outside walkways and clean other areas as assigned.
- Vacuum hallways, remove webs from light fixtures, clean stairs and stair rails and elevators, and spot-clean carpets.
- Collect stained linen from closets and place it in the designated bin.
- Collect and dispose of trash around the property.
- On the morning shift, distribute clean linen left in the loading dock from the previous night.
- Complete housekeeping requests within a reasonable time.
- Use the correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
- Deliver and pick up rollaway beds or cribs to and from guest rooms.
- Keep storage closets clean and stocked with bottled water, toilet paper, and tissue.
- Fulfill housekeeper requests.
- Know hotel fire and emergency procedures.
