Commercial Lines New Business Representative

Varney Agency's Business Development Center is hiring for a Commercial Lines insurance new business production specialist. This position is focused on developing and providing fast, accurate commercial lines new business quotes tailored to the needs of our existing clients and prospective clients.  This position is a fast-paced environment with a high energy team.  Applicant must be detail orientated and adaptable to change and have a friendly, helpful telephone presence.  

The Business Development Center handles incoming requests from our branch offices for commercial lines quoting as well as initiating out-bound prospecting calls to our existing clients after reviewing accounts and identifying possible vulnerabilities often result of split business between varying companies or other agencies.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Windows based operating system is required.
• Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience is preferred, but Varney Agency will train the right candidate
• Ability to sit, stand, use telephone and computer equipment for extended periods of time.
