What believers are saying

  • Website updates through August 2026 show active operations and admissions demand.
  • IOP averages 10-12 weeks, creating predictable throughput and recurring utilization.
  • Young-adult specialty care fits persistent 18-28 demand, especially failure-to-launch referrals.

What critics are saying

  • Insurance covers residential and outpatient, but coaching and housing remain private-pay only.
  • Any Vermont licensing or Joint Commission lapse would cripple referrals and admissions.
  • Owner-operated by Bill Brown, Foster Post, and Patrick Brown concentrates succession and key-person risk.

What makes Confluence Behavioral Health unique

  • Confluence Behavioral Health spans residential, transitional living, and IOP in Vermont.
  • Thetford Center and Burlington locations target 18-28-year-olds with family-inclusive care.
  • Joint Commission accreditation and Vermont licensure support credibility versus smaller peers.
