Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Report to the department manager while assisting with training in the home department when needed.
  • Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates using approved training materials.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and make recommendations in line with training material.
  • Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and on time.
  • Act as a friendly point of contact to support new hires.
  • Collaborate on identifying necessary training-material updates or opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of availability to carry out day-to-day training needs.
  • Promptly escalate food safety hazards and immediately halt production lines if product integrity is compromised or suspected of being compromised.
Desired Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience training peers or groups.
  • Experience facilitating training or presentations for groups of five or more students.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
