He brings a national practice spanning more than 40 states. Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Sean Higgins has joined Troutman Pepper Locke's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group as a partner in the Boston office. His arrival further strengthens the firm's national restructuring platform and deepens its capabilities across commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) special servicing, consumer financial services (CFS) litigation, and related commercial matters in the Northeast. Higgins joins Troutman Pepper Locke from K&L Gates, where his practice centered on complex commercial disputes. Higgins has spent much of his career representing large national banks, private lenders, mortgage loan servicers, automotive finance companies, developers, real estate holding companies, and individual property owners.
