- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body.
- Provide nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients.
- Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
- Perform patient-care duties within a multidisciplinary patient-care team as delegated by the physician.
- Perform duties assigned by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Two years of patient-care experience in an ambulatory or acute-care setting.
- Expertise in ambulatory or physician-office practice flow and activities, specialty-specific disease processes and conditions, in-office procedures, and patient education.
