  • A deep obsession with crafting delightful user experiences, driving design, marketing, and product intuition into bulletproof code.
  • Systems-level understanding of ES6+, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and deep comfort with the modern JavaScript tooling and ecosystem that goes well beyond front-end development
  • Excellence in server-side architecture and development in Node.js / Python (knowing Rust is a plus), with proficiency in designing REST / GraphQL endpoints and interfacing with relational databases like PostgreSQL

  • Brainstorm with robotics engineers, hardware designers, product managers, and marketers, to ship production-ready experiences that push the boundaries of what people expect from consumer robots.
  • Implement APIs and data pipelines that stream real-time fleet telemetry from thousands of robots to intuitive, interactive dashboards—enabling our team to close the gap with our customers for faster and better product decisions.
  • Scale our infrastructure on AWS, integrate payment gateways, and ensure that near-instantaneous load/response times, high security, and reliability are top priorities in every release.
  • As part of a small, talented team, you’ll be a key contributor to code reviews, technical discussions, and setting the highest standard for clean, maintainable, and well-architected code.

Taking On Giants: A Qa With Robotic Vacuum Startup Matic’S Co-Founder Mehul Nariyawala

VentureBeat presents: AI Unleashed - An exclusive executive event for enterprise data leaders. Network and learn with industry peers. Learn More. They’re so commonplace now that they are scarcely worth mentioning, but robotic vacuum cleaners were at one point a revolutionary new device. The idea of a vacuum that could move around a home independently and suck up dust and debris reliably without a human guiding it seemed like sci-fi come to life, back when MIT AI researchers formed the company iRobot in 1990, and again when they debuted the Roomba back in 2002. “Roomba” has since become a widely recognizable brand name up there with Kleenex, Tylenol and Band-Aid, and many other brands have jumped in to offer competing products at higher and lower price points, including vacuum stalwart Dyson and Anker with its Eufy brand
