  • Be able to work autonomously and take initiative in engaging customers.
  • Be able to translate customer technical usage and needs for a product team and explain a product roadmap to non-technical customer leadership.
  • Be able to read usage dashboards, build analyses, and use evidence to support recommendations.
  • Be comfortable presenting to customer executives, internal product leadership, and mixed audiences.
  • Work effectively alongside Account Managers, Solutions, Support, and Product.
  • Have curiosity about software products and motivation to develop product depth without needing to configure the product.
  • Be able to prioritize customer issues and maintain appropriate scope.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's workflows, usage patterns, and operational needs, as well as the product's capabilities.
  • Translate customer technical usage and needs into structured input for Product, and translate product roadmap and capabilities into actionable language for non-technical customer leadership.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and be accountable for adoption metrics, user experience, customer health indicators, expansion signals, and retention outcomes.
  • Drive customers from implementation into active, measurable, durable product usage by building workflow-grounded adoption plans, tracking usage signals, and intervening when adoption stalls.
  • Understand how each customer uses the product, including people, processes, friction points, and workarounds, and surface user-experience insights not visible in account-level metrics alone.
  • Represent customer feedback to Product and Engineering by turning it into prioritized, contextualized product input to inform roadmap decisions and improve user experience, adoption, and growth.
  • Explain the product roadmap, new capabilities, and platform direction to non-technical customer leadership, helping stakeholders understand implications and plan for changes.
  • Partner with commercial Account Managers, sharing context, surfacing signals, and coordinating customer strategy.
  • Partner with Solutions and Implementation during onboarding handoffs; coordinate with Support and Training on issues involving enablement or adoption; and work with Marketing on case studies and references when warranted by adoption stories.
  • Learn core product usage patterns, product and customer metrics, the customer portfolio, and customer business cases; shadow team calls and contribute to debriefs.
  • Develop an understanding of each account's workflows, stakeholders, and adoption status.
  • Prepare and lead customer engagement motions with team members, develop adoption plans and documentation for every account, regularly evaluate customer health indicators, and contribute to internal customer-health scrums and proactive engagement.
  • Assess portfolio adoption, health, and retention risks and opportunities; coordinate with Sales, Support, Delivery, and Product on broader adoption patterns; and contribute to process development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge of government, procurement, grants, or compliance-adjacent industries.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Pendo, Claude, Miro, Notion, or Teamwork.
  • Being based in the Washington, DC metro area and having interest in regular in-person customer collaboration.
  • Experience in GovTech or B2B SaaS; these are preferred but not required.

About the company

Authorium offers a cloud-based software platform that automates and streamlines administrative tasks for government agencies. It handles document-centric workflows across procurement, contracting, policy and HR management, and grant administration, bringing these processes into one unified system from start to finish. The product is delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) for public sector clients, enabling agencies to manage workflows and documents securely online. What sets Authorium apart is its explicit focus on unifying multiple government-specific workflows in a single platform, designed to fit procurement and grant management needs of public agencies rather than generic enterprise tools. The company’s goal is to help government entities modernize their operations, improve efficiency, and scale administrative functions as part of public administration modernization.

What believers are saying

  • Authorium raised $8 million in April 2025, funding hiring and product development.
  • Amy Tong joined August 2026, strengthening California-to-national government procurement expansion.
  • Chi-Kai Chien joined March 2026, signaling engineering investment after FedRAMP High certification.

What critics are saying

  • Federal procurement cycles stay slow; revenue depends on budget approvals and long sales periods.
  • Carahsoft contract entries show key public-sector channels, but renewals expire in 2025-2027.
  • If AWS GovCloud or FedRAMP processes slip, Authorium loses its core security advantage.

What makes Authorium unique

  • FedRAMP High authorization gives Authorium rare credibility for sensitive federal workflows.
  • AWS GovCloud hosting and NIST 800-53 controls separate it from generic SaaS vendors.
  • Authorium focuses narrowly on procurement, grants, and contracts across government operations.
