Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain open communication with customers, dealers, and sales staff to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Enter customer purchase orders into the 2020 system accurately.
  • Coordinate all assigned orders efficiently.
  • Notify customers, dealers, and sales representatives about order issues and provide workable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to expedite orders and accommodate special delivery requests.
  • Provide prompt and accurate freight quotes.
  • Assist with order corrections, sample requests, and customer warranty requests.
  • Support Operations, Sales, and customers through other assigned duties.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the company’s products and processes.
  • Perform required administrative tasks.
  • Take personal ownership for the quality and timeliness of work commitments.
  • Adapt to changing conditions, priorities, technologies, and requirements.
  • Build constructive and professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and key contacts.
  • Estimate task and project duration and difficulty, and establish work plans to complete them.
  • Meet or exceed applicable work standards and objectives.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, attending the office at least once per week.
  • Work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications, and elevations.
  • One to two years of related work experience in commercial office furniture, architecture and interior design, commercial real estate, or construction.
  • Professional selling skills and business acumen.
  • Customer service, project coordination, and negotiating skills.
  • Collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to switch between projects without losing track of details.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
