Requirements
  • Six to eight years of relevant work experience in maintenance.
  • Six to eight years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • A four-year bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or a related field of study, or equivalent years of job experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in relation to industrial manufacturing.
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and direct a team of maintenance personnel responsible for the integrity of Greenheck Group buildings, grounds, and machinery.
  • Ensure that Maintenance Excellence practices, policies, and procedures are followed, and utilize the computerized maintenance management system to manage maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical leadership by answering daily inquiries, assisting with problem solving, and coordinating communication with the team across all shifts.
  • Monitor campus-wide spare parts, shop supplies, and tooling.
  • Continually improve corporate safety programs and safety and housekeeping awareness.
  • Ensure production goals are achieved through timely and cost-effective repair of factory equipment to minimize downtime and maximize machine capacity and longevity.
  • Meet with vendors to negotiate purchases and obtain information on equipment or services for current projects.
  • Manage and provide education to company personnel on governmental regulatory issues affecting manufacturing operations, including DNR, DOT, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local municipalities.
  • Provide technical consultation concerning process operation and capabilities.
  • Plan and implement facility expansions, utility projects, and machinery rebuild or upgrade projects.
  • Provide plant engineering services for manufacturing engineering projects, including new equipment installation, plant layout modifications, and emission permit applications.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement activities.
