About the Job

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in technical field service is advantageous; career starters who are willing to learn are also welcome.
  • Refrigerant handling certification under ChemKlimaschutzV, Category I.
  • Valid Class B driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with an interest in direct customer contact.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call service rotation.
  • Good spoken and written German and basic English for communicating with international colleagues and using documentation and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including split, VRF, precision air-conditioning, and chilled-water systems, at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and participate in the rotating on-call service to provide prompt solutions.
  • Commission new systems, conduct functional tests, and explain key controls to customers.
  • Follow EHS requirements, handle refrigerants safely, and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Serve as the customer-facing representative, provide feedback on system condition, and assist with technical questions.
  • Document service visits using mobile tools and provide clear, complete, and reliable updates to the team.
