"PSECU has a history of using technology to challenge traditional banking models in ways that create greater value for members," said Jason Edelboim, CEO of Candescent. "This is an institution with real digital-first DNA making a bold investment in what comes next. PSECU is also the first new client to select Votiv, validating both our Intelligent Banking strategy and the role Votiv plays in bringing that vision to life. We are proud to welcome PSECU and look forward to building the next era of banking together." Candescent and PSECU will begin joint planning and implementation as part of the multi-year transformation. The organizations will work closely throughout the journey to align technology, data and the member experience with PSECU's strategy and growth ambitions. Candescent is defining the era of Intelligent Banking for banks and credit unions. By PYMNTS | June 23, 2026 Candescent has named former iCIMS CEO Jason Edelboim as CEO, succeeding Brendan Tansill, who will step down to pursue other endeavors. Edelboim, who has built and scaled artificial intelligence-powered software business, will accelerate innovation across the Candescent Intelligent Banking Platform, which is used by more than 1,300 banks and credit unions, the company said in a Monday (June 22) press release. "Jason is the right leader at the right moment," Ramzi Musallam, CEO and managing partner of Veritas Capital, parent company of Candescent, said in the release. "Candescent has established itself as the leader in Intelligent Banking, and Jason's proven ability to scale enterprise software and AI-enabled platforms positions the company to extend that lead." At iCIMS, Edelboim led the company's transformation into an AI platform for talent acquisition. Before that, he served as president and chief operating officer of Dataminr, an AI platform for real-time event, threat and risk intelligence, according to the release. "Banking is moving from digital to intelligent, and Candescent is at the forefront of this shift," Edelboim said in the release.
