Requirements
  • At least 10 years of professional experience using Java, .NET, or other server-side languages in production
  • Comfortable practicing Agile development and thoroughly testing own code
  • Experience developing features for the cloud
  • Ability to delve into the front-end stack (JavaScript, ReactJS)
  • Deep understanding of databases, automated testing, and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency building and managing RESTful APIs
  • Deep experience designing and building out infrastructure for complex cloud-based software applications
  • Knowledge of or experience with microservices architecture
  • Commitment to providing support for more junior members of the team
  • Passionate about personal growth
Responsibilities
  • Work with Product Manager to understand requirements for a new feature
  • Build and deploy features using Java, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
  • Improve the architecture of a back-end area of the platform
  • Meet with Product Designer to explain technical constraints for a specific feature
  • Write clear, concise technical documentation
  • Test new technology or improve codebase and engineering practices
  • Nurture an engineering culture that cares about code quality and delivering quickly for customers
