Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required; further education or certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Fast typing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
  • Knowledge of word-processing tools and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of databases.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Customer service skills, confidentiality, integrity, organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately input textual and numerical information from source documents into database systems within required time limits.
  • Review, verify, and correct data for completeness and accuracy by comparing it with source documents or re-entering it in verification format to detect errors.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks, files, and progress.
  • Scan documents and print files as needed.
  • Retrieve data from databases or electronic files when requested.
  • Perform regular backups to preserve data.
  • Comply with data-integrity and security policies.
  • Work with the records-management team to identify and resolve discrepancies in company records.
  • Assist with file-management and archiving activities, ensuring proper storage and confidentiality of files.

Vital Records Control (VRC), a provider of information governance services, has acquired AI platform company AskTuring. The acquisition expands VRC's artificial intelligence capabilities within its technology stack. AskTuring provides AI technology that helps organisations securely access, understand, and use information within their data repositories. VRC plans to integrate AskTuring's technology into its service offerings, including VitalControl®, enabling customers to gain greater insight into information stored physically or digitally. "The acquisition of AskTuring gives us additional AI capabilities that complement our existing technology and creates new opportunities," said Danny Palo, CEO of VRC.
