About the company

Kobre & Kim is a conflict-free global law firm that handles cross-border disputes, investigations, enforcement, and related insolvency and IP litigation across the Americas, APAC, Caribbean, and EMEA. It works by assembling an integrated advocacy team of English solicitors and barristers, Hong Kong solicitors, offshore lawyers, and U.S. trial lawyers, including former DOJ/SEC attorneys, to litigate and arbitrate in major jurisdictions and dispute-resolution centers. Its goal is to provide comprehensive, globally coordinated cross-border dispute resolution and investigation services.

What believers are saying

  • August 20, 2026 Uber RICO dismissal strengthened its litigation credibility.
  • June 29, 2026 Cohen recovery and August 3, 2026 Rolta victory showcase monetization skill.
  • Brazil, Hong Kong, and mainland-China matters expanded, including DaFa's first recognition request.

What critics are saying

  • Revenue concentrates in contested financings; a 2027 downturn in defaults hits demand hard.
  • Competitors like Quinn Emanuel and Paul Weiss target the same enforcement and restructuring mandates.
  • A bad outcome in flagship matters, like AIG or Uber, damages referral-driven origination.

What makes Kobre & Kim unique

  • The Analyst Program trains over 60 juniors worldwide for investigations-to-litigation staffing.
