Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge or experience using Net Inspect.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience using Discus and/or InspectionXpert.
  • Thorough product and process knowledge.
  • Knowledge of quality as it relates to total customer service.
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, material requirements planning (MRP) systems, Net-Inspect, and Discus.
  • Familiarity with industry engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Ability to use required eye and hearing protection and meet the stated physical demands of the role.
Responsibilities
  • Review customer requirements using supplier resources such as purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and tooling.
  • Identify the manufacturing and quality processes necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Review engineering change orders (ECOs) and planning to produce products to customer requirements.
  • Document process changes in planning through Planning Change Requests as part of the improvement process.
  • Audit planning and regularly approve internally created sketches.
  • Develop First Article Inspection (FAI) templates within Net Inspect during planning review in the ECO process.
  • Bubble engineering for all FAIs using Discus and/or InspectionXpert ballooning software.
