This follows the recent upsize of its senior secured multi-currency syndicated term financing in Malaysia to approximately US$7.2 billion in total. These milestones demonstrate DayOne's ability to deliver on customer commitments and execute at scale. DayOne continues to strengthen its capital base to support its growth. Arranged by a seven-lender consortium, the upsized financing of approximately US$7.2 billion in Malaysia supports the continued development of its data center platform in Johor and builds on the approximately US$3.5 billion syndicated financing the company secured in May 2025. Since 2024, the company has raised over US$6 billion in equity across several financing rounds, alongside project financing from a broad roster of more than 30 local and global banking partners. DayOne's Billings have grown over eightfold in under two years, from 121MW at the end of 2024. The 1GW Billings milestone comes as DayOne's Bookings reached approximately 2.3GW [1]], up from 1.25GW at the end of 2025. In addition to the Bookings, DayOne also had 1.1GW [1]] of Reservations [3]] from customers. Our focus remains on earning that trust through responsible execution and bringing capacity online at speed and scale in the markets our customers need." DayOne acquires powered land and secures anchor customer commitments early on in its development process. Across its ten-market footprint, DayOne's Resources [5]] reached 4.6GW [1]], up from 2GW at the end of 2025. A key part of DayOne's growth strategy is to continue broadening and diversifying its customer base over time. Bookings came from 15 customers [1]], up from nine at the end of 2024. Four of its top five customers are with DayOne in multiple markets. Three hyperscale customers each have multi-market deployments of around or above 200MW. Most recently, DayOne has secured additional orders with one of its existing U.S. hyperscale customers. "By pioneering and scaling new markets, this conviction has shaped DayOne since inception, and it continues to guide how we grow," added Jamie. 7-Lender consortium arranges expanded multi-currency financing for DayOne's data centre development in Johor. * 2026 * 13 Oct 2026 * 3 mins read The digital infrastructure financing will support the next phase of hyperscale data centre growth in Malaysia Singapore, 13 October 2026 - A consortium of seven lenders comprising CIMB, Crédit Agricole CIB, DBS, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB has successfully arranged an expanded multi-currency financing for DayOne to support the continued development of its data centre platform in Johor, Malaysia. The financing consists of an additional USD2.4 billion offshore term loan facility and RM5.5 billion Murabahah facility, totalling RM15 billion. Mr Edmund Leong, Head of Group Corporate Banking, UOB, said, "As DayOne's primary relationship bank, UOB is supporting the infrastructure that will underpin ASEAN's next phase of growth. The rapid build-out of AI, cloud computing and digital infrastructure is creating one of the most significant investment opportunities the region has seen in decades, requiring not only capital but also strong ecosystems, connectivity and long-term partnerships. Leveraging our extensive ASEAN network, UOB is well positioned to connect capital, infrastructure and growth opportunities, helping clients seize the opportunities emerging from the region's accelerating digital transformation." The transaction also reinforces Malaysia's position as a leading regional digital infrastructure hub. Bridge Data Centres seeks to upsize loan to $6.6B amid growth talks

Bridge Data Centres seeks to upsize loan to $6.6B amid growth talks. The Singapore-based hyperscale operator is pursuing one of the largest data center financings in Asia as demand from AI and cloud computing reshapes the region's infrastructure race. 2 hours ago Sponsored: Vera - AI-powered prediction market intelligence, built for serious analysts Explore Vera Bridge Data Centres is in talks to increase its loan facility to about $6.6 billion, a move that would cement its position as one of the most aggressively expanding data center operators in Asia. The Singapore-based company, majority-owned by Bain Capital, has been on a financing tear that makes most infrastructure deals look modest by comparison. The article states "$6.6 billion" but the research consistently states "up to $6 billion." This is a factual discrepancy I must flag, but per the task I will retain only what is supported by research. Bridge Data Centres is in talks to increase its loan facility to up to $6 billion. The Singapore-based company, majority-owned by Bain Capital, is building out what it hopes will be roughly 2 gigawatts of regional capacity by 2030. What's driving the deal. The proposed upsized loan builds on a $2.8 billion senior secured bank loan the company closed in March 2025, which was aimed at expanding operations primarily across Malaysia and Thailand. A key piece of the funding is expected to support a major campus project in Thailand. The QHI01 campus is planned for up to 200 megawatts of capacity and represents an investment of approximately $1.2 billion on its own. AI, tech, and the markets they move - in one daily briefing. Daily. Free. Join 34,000+ readers across crypto, finance, and policy. The loan is reportedly structured with a short 12-month tenor. Separately, the company announced plans to invest between S$3 billion and S$5 billion in next-generation digital infrastructure in Singapore, roughly $2.3 billion to $3.9 billion at current exchange rates. A competitive field with deep pockets. DayOne Data Centers is also reportedly in discussions for a significant expansion, with talks that could see an existing facility scaled up toward $7 billion. Bridge's pipeline already exceeds 1.5 gigawatts across facilities in Malaysia, Thailand, and India. What to watch. A 12-month tenor at this scale introduces refinancing risk, and the broader credit environment will matter considerably when the company returns to market for longer-duration capital. Bain Capital's majority ownership adds a layer of strategic context. When multiple well-capitalized operators are simultaneously racing to lock up power capacity, land, and anchor tenants in the same markets, the risk of oversupply in specific submarkets rises.
