Sabre provides technology and distribution services for the global travel industry, operating a global distribution system that connects airlines, hotels, and travel agencies to search, book, and manage travel reservations. It began as American Airlines’ internal mainframe for bookings, schedules, and inventory and later expanded to serve other airlines and travel providers. Its advantage comes from being an early, wide-reaching distribution backbone with a large network and end-to-end capabilities across travel suppliers. Sabre opens Sponsored Listings to Koddi's travel media platform. Move makes its 'easier' for suppliers to incorporate the channel into wider media strategies Sabre has made its Sponsored Listings inventory available through Koddi Demand, giving hotel advertisers access to paid placements within the travel technology firm's agency booking workflow. The integration allows hotel brands to manage and measure Sabre Sponsored Listings alongside other travel media campaigns through Koddi Demand. Sponsored Listings enables hotels to promote their properties within the shopping and booking workflow used by travel advisors and corporate travel bookers using Sabre Mosaic Agency Workspace. The placements are designed to give hotel advertisers greater visibility while travel sellers are searching for and selecting accommodation on behalf of customers. Sabre said its Mosaic platform connects travel sellers in more than 190 countries, giving hotel advertisers access to a B2B audience at the point of booking. The integration also brings Sabre's advertising inventory into Koddi Demand's existing media management infrastructure, which supports campaign activation, forecasting, pacing and attribution. Chris Heike, VP of operations and programme management at Koddi, said the integration would allow hotels to add Sabre to broader travel media strategies without creating separate buying and measurement workflows. "Sabre gives advertisers access to an incredibly valuable audience at an important moment in the booking process," he said. John Peebles, general manager of Media at Sabre, said making Sponsored Listings available through Koddi Demand would make it easier for suppliers to incorporate the channel into wider media strategies. The move comes as travel media expands beyond consumer-facing OTAs and metasearch into B2B booking environments, giving suppliers opportunities to pay for visibility within the systems used by travel professionals. Sabre's Sponsored Listings are targeted at travel advisors and travel management companies, while Koddi Demand provides a single technology layer for hotel marketers managing sponsored placements across multiple travel platforms. The integration adds Sabre to Koddi Demand's growing travel media ecosystem as hotel advertisers increasingly look to manage fragmented advertising inventory across marketplaces, OTAs and other travel platforms from a single system.
