Requirements
  • Creo Parametric Professional Certification or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of relevant work experience are required.
  • Four years of applicable technical experience with Creo (ProE) are required.
  • Experience with product development in an ISO-controlled environment is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • The ability to handle the stress of working with others is required.
  • The ability to be available outside normal work hours is required.
  • The ability to lead by example is required.
  • The ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles is required.
  • Knowledge of methods and accepted practices of plastic injection molding, tooling, and tooling design is required.
  • Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products is required.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day operational requirements is required.
  • The ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally, including occasional overnight stays and extended work hours, is required.
  • The ability to obtain a passport is required.
Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs and requirements and translate them into cost-effective, accurate, and tooling-ready designs that are feasible to manufacture.
  • Develop commercially viable designs for product offerings using computer-aided design and other resources.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, customers, and tooling vendors to develop, execute, and implement new products from concept to production.
  • Create robust models using sound design practices that can accommodate multiple design changes.
  • Maintain full compliance with ISO quality procedures and processes.
  • Provide technical customer support and assistance.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate degree in Mechanical Design Technology is desired.
  • Design skills in related plastic processes and materials are desired.
  • Experience with Windchill or other product data management software is desired.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, KeyShot, or AutoCAD is desired.
  • Experience with finite element analysis simulation using ANSYS, Creo, or SolidWorks is desired.
