About the job
- The candidate must be pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- The candidate must demonstrate organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with databases or reporting platforms is a plus.
- The candidate should have an interest in environmental compliance, sustainability, or ESG reporting.
- The candidate must be able to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and variable temperatures.
- The candidate must have written and verbal communication skills and be able to collaborate across teams.
- Assist with maintaining Dee Zee’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Support environmental reporting through data collection and documentation.
- Help prepare information for sustainability reporting platforms, including CDP, EcoVadis, and MFG 2030.
- Contribute to the development of Dee Zee’s Corporate Sustainability Report.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that promote environmental stewardship.
- Support internal audits and compliance documentation.
- Gain exposure to EHS activities, including inspections and incident investigations, as needed.
- Experience with databases or reporting platforms.
