About the job
- Be based in San Francisco or Palo Alto, with a Bay Area founder and CEO network.
- Have personally built revenue from zero and been accountable for the commercial number.
- Be comfortable closing enterprise transformation deals with multi-month sales cycles and C-suite buyers, including CEOs, CFOs, and COOs.
- Have experience with network-driven, reference-based sales and building a pipeline from warm relationships rather than marketing or inbound.
- Have operated at Associate Partner or Partner level at a top-tier strategy firm, or at equivalent VP-level leadership in a transformation-heavy SaaS or professional services company.
- Be comfortable operating as an individual contributor in Year 1, closing deals personally before scaling a team.
- Demonstrate a builder's instinct for designing commercial architecture rather than only executing an existing playbook.
- Source, qualify, and close enterprise deals through a personal network in the Bay Area and beyond.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop Deployment Principals across target markets in Europe and the US.
- Own CEO-level commercial relationships across the growing client portfolio.
- Define and execute a fully network-driven, reference-compounding, no-marketing go-to-market playbook.
- Codify the go-to-market motion into a repeatable playbook that does not depend on any single person's knowledge.
- Partner with the founding team on commercial strategy, pricing, and market positioning.
- Own the commercial function, design the go-to-market approach, hire the team, and set strategy.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI and enterprise technology, particularly technical literacy to direct an AI or data build.
