Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or another related field is required, or four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
Six years of experience in the supported business functional area, including two years working with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft or Oracle, is required.
Six years of Finance experience, including two years of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management experience, is highly preferred.
Experience with documentation, workflow design, workflow build, or operational workflow in the area of specialty is required.
Knowledge of healthcare ERP business environments is highly desirable.
PC skills are required.
A full understanding of building and maintaining ERP applications and systems is required.
The ability to work with all levels of the ERP business functional area and independently with little to no supervision is required.
The ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with teams of all sizes is required.

Responsibilities

Work with ERP leadership and functional-area stakeholders to implement business improvement opportunities and provide ERP system support.
Serve as a project manager and provide consulting services on integrating information technologies into ERP business processes.
Define system requirements and assess impacts for new installations, enhancements, releases, and upgrades to ERP system software within the functional area.
Perform ongoing maintenance and support throughout the ERP application life cycle.
Diagnose defects in ERP applications and coordinate with the ERP technical team to resolve them.
Triage and address system questions or concerns with ERP leadership.
Manage ERP system master data within the functional area.
Identify and support implementation of ERP business process improvements.
Create queries and reports for end-user requirements and analysis; develop test scripts and execute testing as needed.
Communicate with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors; develop and maintain ERP training materials and job aids.
Maintain awareness of vendor and industry developments and plans in the area of responsibility.
Provide virtual and on-site support to multiple Texas Health locations, including hospitals and clinics.
Serve as a team mentor or supervisor to other ERP Solutions or Project Specialists.
Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues and select appropriate methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
Network with senior internal and external personnel within the ERP business functional area.

Desired Qualifications

Healthcare experience in the supported business functional area is preferred.
PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP experience is preferred.

Job Description:

The ERP Solutions Specialist III works with ERP leadership and key stakeholders within their functional area to implement business improvement opportunities and provide ERP system support.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related field required or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
6 years' experience in the supported business functional area (e.g. finance, supply chain, human capital), preferably in healthcare to include 2 years' experience working with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft / Oracle required
6 years of Finance experience with 2 years PeopleSoft FSCM experience highly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Ability to work with all levels of the ERP business functional area within the organization.
Highly organized
Experience with documentation, workflow design, build or operational workflow in area of specialty.
Knowledge of healthcare ERP business environments is highly desirable.
Ability to develop a trusted relationship with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with teams of all sizes as well as independently with little to no supervision.
PC skills required.
Experienced professional with a full understanding of build and maintenance of ERP applications and systems.
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Able to serve as team mentor or supervisor to other team ERP (Solutions or Project) Specialists.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Networks with senior internal/external personnel within their ERP business functional area.
Normally receives little instructions on routine work, general instructions on new projects or assignments.
