Timberland just released new Día de Muertos boots for men and women with color-changing details and charm accessories. The special-edition styles are available now. October 2, 2026, 2:02pm With Día de Muertos just a month away, outdoor footwear manufacturer Timberland is getting ahead of the Mexican holiday celebration with the launch of a new Premium 6-Inch waterproof boot pack made up of unique styles for men and women. The Timberland Día de Muertos pack includes the men's 6-Inch waterproof boot and the women's Stone Street Platform Premium 6-Inch waterproof boot. Aside from their usual platform sole differentiation, both looks have been outfitted with custom flair that's unique to each offering. The men's Premium 6-Inch waterproof boot goes all-in on the holiday's traditional sugar skull motifs, covering the upper of the boot in a color-changing skeleton design, which shifts from white to purple when exposed to sunlight. Purple laces, a purple padded leather heel collar and a purple floral heel tab are paired with marigold accents to represent the flowers of the dead, a reference which is spelled out more explicitly on the shoe's flower-shaped hangtag. Marigold-colored accents and gold embroidery are found throughout, including along the boot's padded leather heel collar. According to Timberland, both men's and women's Día de Muertos styles are intended to represent the "the light, love and legacy" behind the annual Day of the Dead tradition. Despite being just over a week into the official start of fall, Timberland's seasonal boot releases are already well underway. Recent launches of note include a reissue of Supreme's popular Diamond Plate collaboration, a western-themed pack in collaboration with retailer Sneaker Politics and an in-house release covered in stud embellishments. Rooted in craftsmanship and shaped by culture, the limited-edition Timberland(R) x New Era(R) Collection reimagines fan essentials through a refined lens, where unmistakable team pride meets timeless design. The collaboration spans three signature silhouettes: the New Era 59FIFTY(R) fitted cap, the New Era 19TWENTY(R) adjustable cap, and the Timberland(R) Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot. Seven of Major League Baseball's (MLB's) most celebrated clubs are represented, including the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and New York Yankees. The Collection launches with a cinematic campaign featuring New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm, Jr., whose influence extends well beyond the diamond. Known for playing the game on his own terms, Chisholm Jr. embodies a new generation of athletes reshaping baseball culture. The short film portrays Chisholm opposite a younger version of himself in a poignant conversation that reflects on the journey from childhood dreams to the major leagues - capturing the mindset that defines both the athlete and the brands behind the collaboration: authentic, resilient and relentless. "Timberland and New Era stand for quality, durability, and grit - the same mindset I try to bring to every experience, on and off the field," said Chisholm, Jr. "This partnership feels very authentic as I've been wearing these brands for years; but the best part is being able to share it with our loyal fans."
