About the job
- Several years of professional experience as a platform, cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineer, together with an IT-related degree, vocational training, or comparable qualification.
- Confidently build, enhance, and operate CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.
- Use integrations with identity providers, messaging platforms, observability stacks, and security mechanisms to make deployments and operational processes reproducible, transparent, and scalable.
- Use Kubernetes or comparable technologies and databases in productive application operations, understand user teams' perspectives, and explain how they can use provided services effectively.
- Knowledge of AI technologies and their applications in development and platform contexts, and responsible use of AI for operations, automation, and analysis of operational and observability data.
- Understanding of IT security, regulatory requirements, monitoring, and stable platform operations.
- German language proficiency at least at B2 level, ideally C1.
- Design a modern CI/CD and platform environment for new composite private-customer applications using cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and databases to enable DevSecOps teams to deliver and operate applications securely, reliably, and with automation.
- Support teams in building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and integrating them with existing platforms.
- Work with product owners, project and portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements from enablement and platform ARTs, develop technical concepts, and coordinate changes and their implementation within ARTs.
- Analyze and continuously improve existing pipelines and integrations, use existing CI/CD components and self-services, and determine when components should be extended or new solutions created.
- Pilot new features and technical improvements for CI/CD platforms, runtime environments, and artifact-transfer authentication; prepare results for implementation teams and turn successful solutions into reusable enablement components.
- Take responsibility for quality, stability, performance, observability, troubleshooting, migrations, IT security, and documentation.
- Translate regulatory requirements, security standards, and architectural guidelines into practical solutions and processes for automated pipelines and an end-to-end DevSecOps approach.
- Advise technical and business stakeholders across ARTs, provide technical guidance to engineers, and prepare decision documents.
- Connect technology with business requirements and share knowledge through workshops, communities, instructions, best-practice guides, and self-services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code or comparable techniques for reusable components and self-services.
