About the job
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology with additional training in computed tomography.
- ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
- Must be CT Registry eligible or CT Registered; if CT Registry eligible, CT registration must be obtained within 6 months of the hire date.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Perform high-quality computed tomography procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
