Requirements

A diploma in an engineering-related field is required.
Knowledge of SCADA is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
Ability to work rotating three-shift schedules is required.
Ability to work overtime when required is required.
Applications for an airport pass will be screened by the Airport Police Division because the work is performed in a restricted area.

Responsibilities

Report all system-related issues to the Shift Engineer.
Ensure that the system is operating normally.
Monitor the system for faults and other faults in the flow of airport baggage.
Oversee technicians in the discharge of their duties.
Respond promptly to faults by immediately dispatching technicians to attend to them.
Ensure prompt diversion of baggage during breakdowns to keep baggage flow uninterrupted.
Provide the Shift Engineer with prompt information on system-related faults and regular status updates.
Ensure proper dispatch of personnel for prompt breakdown recovery.
Ensure that the corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance schedule is completed as scheduled.
Ensure that equipment and tools are regularly checked, calibrated, and valid for technicians to use safely.
Support the Shift Engineer during system troubleshooting and updates.
Assist management with report submission.
Assist management with data analysis and statistics.

Desired Qualifications

A Class 3 driving licence is advantageous but not required.
A strong willingness to learn is preferred.

Job Description

Ensures prompt response to all faults by immediately despatching technicians to attend to the faults.
Ensures prompt diversion of baggage during breakdowns. This is to ensure that the flow of baggage remains uninterrupted.
Provides prompt information to Shift Engineer on all system-related faults and provides regular status updates.
Ensures proper despatch of personnel to ensure prompt breakdown recovery.
Ensures that the CM/PM Schedule is completed as scheduled.
Ensures that all equipment/tools are regularly checked/calibrated/valid accordingly for the technician to use safely.
Provides support to Shift Engineer during system troubleshooting/updates.
Assist management in report submission.
Assist management in data analysis and statistics.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering related field
Knowledge of SCADA is an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided.
Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Words)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work in rotating 3 shifts.
Able to OT whenever required.
Candidates with Class 3 driving license is an advantage but not necessary
Candidates with strong willingness to learn is preferred
Since the work needs to be performed in a restricted area, applications for airport pass will be screened by the Airport Police Division
