Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with products and processes.
  • Attention to detail for documentation correctness.
  • Familiarity with the use and navigation of Net Inspect.
  • Understanding of quality as it relates to the total customer service philosophy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, database software, and Net Inspect.
  • Ability to use Mylar sheets, a height gauge, pin gauges, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and working in a shop environment with potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock risk, and loud noise.
Responsibilities
  • Verify incoming products to ensure they meet purchase orders, work orders, and customer requirements.
  • Perform hardness and conductivity readings according to customer requirements.
  • Read engineering drawings and understand drawing and general configuration requirements.
  • Perform first-part buyoff and in-process buyoff for sheet metal parts, including deburred, formed, and flat-pattern parts.
  • Ensure work orders and purchase orders are completed correctly and that all quantities are accurate.
  • Ensure all certifications are correct and legible.
  • Record deviations from specifications and drawing requirements on a non-conformance report.
  • Use and navigate Net Inspect to perform First Article Inspections.
